I have conflicting feelings about these kinds of 'behind the scenes' docs. On the one hand, as a filmmaker and artist, I love to hear the stories and learn about how they did all this stuff, the innovative ways they were able to accomplish the magic on screen. On the other hand, watching such docs can truly spoil the magic of the movie going experience. Especially when you learn (and see) the very humble roots of some of the more magnificent things up on screen that have impressed you through the years. To this day, I still regret watching a 'behind the scenes' documentary on Casablanca, because I cannot watch it without recalling what I learned about a 'cheat' they used to accomplish that final scene.
