In this video, I'll show you how to do a clipper blade replacement. I'll be using the FXONE LoPro FX with MIM blade and Lithium FX+ Clipper with wedge blade as my demo.
This is a common way to change your blades out after they become dull or you simply want to try something new. Most blades are interchangeable in the Babyliss line up.
For those who have never tried this, might be intimidated at the springs when the blades push off the body, but if you follow this video, its really not too difficult to do and this allows you to learn how to maximize your tools by also zero-gapping. Another reason you'd want to take your blades apart is to also clean them from any excess hair.
Tips to help you:
When you take the blade off, make sure the clipper is in the "closed position" it'll give more space for where the metal spring goes in and out of the hole thats holding the cutting blade.
Zero-gapping tips:
Gap to where you're comfortable. This is a good way to bring your blades closer together to help your your blends have a nice transition.
