BLADE: TRINITY (2004) TWIN BROTHERS FIRST TIME WATCHING MOVIE REACTION! 

Fun Fact: Blade received his Trench Coat from Wolverine when he was around the age of 16. Logan was hunting a pack of Vamipres and met a young Blade suffering from hunger. He nursed Blade back to health and took him under his wing for a while. As a parting gift he gave Blade his own coat off of his back. Even though it's not shown often, Logan and Blade have an older brother/younger brother relationship. They get along too well and usually try to out do each others violence when running missions together very joyously.

Drake wasn't really a villain, he was just pissed about being woken up

Wesley snipes also practices martial arts training besides being and actor. I think that made him confident in his moves on screen. I hope they find someone as good, but he will always be blade to me.

They tried to throw Wesley Snipes under the bus with this one. They didn't take much of Wesley's input on this one, but he still was outspoken on things he didn't like, so the director and a few others tried to label him as "difficult to work with" . When the movie hit, they realized Wesley was right, but still held to their guns... Check out Money Train or Passenger 57 with Wesley Snipes

In this one I always thought they had Ryan Reynolds tell so many jokes to distract from finally killing off Whistler. Drake wasn't really a villan, he was minding his business and the vampires woke him to save them from Blade. That is why he could care less about them.

This is the weakest of the 3. Wesley actually had issues with this bc the decisions made and direction of the character. I didn't mind the new characters but it centered .more around them than Blade. I completely understood Wesley's disapproval. Ryan said he kinda had an attitude, but I totally understand. Wesley saved Marvel , they kinda did him dirty with this.

29:50 Jessica Biel was instructed to aim at the camera, for this shot. She objected that she didn't want to damage the thing, but the director insisted she wouldn't hit it, she should just try to. She hit it dead center in the lens and destroyed it.

I think this movie was more of a introduction to the Nightstalkers than a blade movie. I know they were talking about a nightstalkers spinoff when this movie first came out.

This movie was the reason Ryan Reynolds wanted to be Deadpool. Someone on the set of the movie said to him he would be perfect for Deadpool. He researched the character and wanted to make the movie for over a decade.

Dracula is awesome in this movie, once he gets to fighting Blade, and I always felt that his lack of loyalty to the rest of his species, and that he even looks down upon them as less evolved and rubbish, was something that you could expect from the more traditional version of the character. He wanted to kill Blade in a honorable fight, simply because he knew only the warrior’s way of life. He was more like a Klingon than a vampire. This movie, plus the previous one, really makes the whole Blood God that Deacon Frost became in the first movie questionable. Nomack and the Reapers, Dracula, and even Whistler’s comments on religious items not affecting vampires, really makes it seem like they’re more based in biology than supernatural. But then you have the Blood God and those bat-like “souls” that came out of the vampire elders in the first movie. So, what’s the deal. Was Dracula born that way as a genetic accident and it led to the vampire race as we’ve seen them, and the Reapers were just one evolutionary step closer to what Dracula actually is? Or is Dracula the son of the Blood God or something like that, and vampire origins really are fully supernatural? We’ll never know.

Funny behind the scenes tidbit. Jessica actually became so good with a bow and arrow while training for this movie, that she actually destroyed a $300,000 camera while filming. During the scene where she was supposed to shoot Drake with the plague arrow, they shielded the camera, leaving only a 4 inch window for the lens to film. They told her to aim for the lens, never thinking she'd hit it from over 100 ft away. Well...she did. She imbedded the arrow directly into the center of the camera lens.

You guys have to do "Wanted" with James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie, if you haven't seen it before

Notice @15:57 Blade was the first to do the iconic superhero landing. Every marvel movie afterwards copied it. These Blade movies were the foundation of what Marvel eventually turned into. Ryan Reynolds Deadpool was actually the same character, a lot of fight scenes are based off of what the Blade movies began.. gotta give Wesley Snipes his props… a true icon!👍🏽great reactions guys!👍🏽💜

Watching your Blade reactions made me more excited to see the MCU version of what they are going to do with this character integrating him in to the MCU. I'm also very excited that they have an Oscar winning actor take on the role because I love the roles that Mahershala Ali has chosen and the fact that he went to Marvel and said I would love to play this character in your universe and says a lot about them believing that this was the right course of action. Not to mention that Mahershela got the blessing from Wesley Snipes picking up the role was absolutely amazing to see.

The way Ryan Reynolds was portrayed in this movie is the reason he became Deadpool. One of the crew members said to him he reminded him of Deadpool with all the jokes and stuff. Ryan then researched Deadpool and was like this is totally me. Especially when he saw a Deadpool comic where Deadpool says he looks like Ryan Reynolds and a shar pei combined.

Yeah the villains in this movie are weak. Ryan Reynolds is great, early glimpses of Deadpool personality shining through

Only saw this a few months after it hit DVD and actually loved it. Forgetting the problems between Snipes and the director everyone knew their backstory and played it to the max. Reynolds and Beil brought at least 75% of the awesomeness and honestly if there was a Blade Quattro I’d be the first one in line. Blade will always be looked over by the general audience but this was the start of Marvel and DCEU. Learn from those before you so you can setup those after you. Love all the Blade movies but this one a bit more because the actors went the extra steps to make it special before the MCU made it a standard. Snipes will always hold an argument for me when we fans get together and discuss previous movies. All 3 films took it seriously and projected that to the audience. So goodbye Blade and thank you for the years of excellent movies you inspired

It's an unpopular opinion , but I have always like Blade Trinity more than Blade 2.. Great reactions guys.

Fun fact: the building where they have the end battle at, is the same building in the beginning of the Bond film Casino Royale. I believe it was also used in a third movie around the same time, maybe one of the Bourne films? You recognize the ramps instantly in all three films it's featured in.

I have to agree, Blade 1 we get Deacon Frost. His motivations and goals are laid out. We see the lengths his is willing to go in order to accomplish his goals. He is a fleshed out character. Blade 2, same thing with Nomack. Even though his true motivations aren't revealed until the end, they make up for it by raising the stakes with him and the Reapers. Blade 3, "hey....guy that started it all....yeah we've got this guy that none of us are strong enough to kill...could you maybe help us out?" "You're all pathetic! Well, I have been sitting in a tomb for a couple millenia. Sure, why not."

The behind the scenes stuff is interesting...Snipes and the director were at each others throats. When he demanded his stunt double do most of the fights, the director (also the writer) rewrote the script and made it a nightstalkers film

Fun fact: In the scene towards the end when Jessica Biel shoots an arrow at the camera, there was a large piece of protective glass on the front of it with a 3x3 square hole in it. She was such an accurate shot, that she got the arrow into the hole and broke the camera.

Expect for they don't kill all the vampires, there's an extended scene of this movie that shows that not even Drake was killed. Dracula doesn't need to meet anybody to turn into them. I think all he would need is just something with the person's image on it. Vlad Dracula, the supreme ruler of the vampires.

I cant believe you guys managed to watch all 3 Blade movies and nobody suggested you watch the Underworld movies next. You guys would love them for sure.

The hide out they use is an abandoned floating McDonald’s that was used during the 1986 Vancouver olympics, during the games it was docked at one of the marinas but after the games McDonald’s basically closed it down and it has been abandoned ever since it was anchored offshore for a long time and people would go out there on boats and trash the place and several people have bought it over the years to turn it into a nice restaurant or something but it has never happened so it has been moved around to various locations around Vancouver.

The music they put in these movies was great to go along with the action sequence

I really enjoyed this one. It's one of those "guilty pleasures" like it's so bad (kinda) it's good type of movies. Not even that bad, it just goes for entertainment over anything else and sometimes u need those films. The comedy is the absolute best part for me as well. LOVE the whole Ryan Reynolds hostage scene in that room with Triple H. Absolutely hilarious and best part of the film for me.

There are so many great actors in this movie, I always liked it and didn’t understand the hate. Back then, though, I had no clue about the comic books or what this movie did to the characters, I just thought Wesley Snipes was awesome and I’ll always have a soft spot for Ryan Reynolds.

Everyone thought the blade movies would have kept getting better just like 1 then 2 and 3 was supposed to he huge so the expectations were higher for that one so when it missed the mark ppl went crazy because like you guys we all fell in love with blade the movie and the character. Ryan is awesome but if everything had been set up differently it would have been awesome and if the build up to a villain was done better and he had more bad intentions would have been good. Needed better writing .you guys made me enjoy watching this again tho lol. I will always be a big blade fan and mr Ali has big shoes to fill ,I hope he fights great and maybe Westly comes as Whistler or as a villain

I've been waiting for this reaction for a bit. Been watching stuff for candyman and Halloween kills and stuff but kept seeing this and was like haven't seen that in a whole. Then I see it on TV lol. Watching it now and this brings back so much. Surprising how much thats just coming back. I'm use to watching on DVD back in the day. It wS unrated so there's parts missing in the theatrical lol. Us so much behind the scenes stuff like blooper reel documentary. So much cool stuff. Loved this when it came out. We talked about this a lot in school and I rewatched it many times lol.

Dominic Purcell,..the I guess version of dracula,..he has this cool confidence like Blade,..and the similarity in brutality toward other vampires,..Dominic is also in DC Legends,..and Killer Elite with Jason Statham, and Clive Owen,...I like this Blade too, mainly because of Wesley,.just love to watch him move,..and for me the brilliant casting, again sometimes you look at who's in the movie,..Parker Posey was viscously gorgeous in this,..the banter between her and Ryan was scrumptious,..lol so love her,..she's always doing independent, "indie" type movies,.. I even bought the soundtrack to this. Everything about this movie is awesome. Definitely my favorite in the trilogy. Most favorite bits are with the nightstalkers lol. Hannibal king my favorite. He's hilarious and kicks butt lol. Around this time we heard that he's in the lead to play deadpool. And I was like after seeing this oh he'll yeah lol. Just play it like he dies in this and he nails it. Basically what he did in x men origins wolverine. Of course by the time we got to the actual deadpool movie he actually got maybe even more funnier lol.

"A-Team" is a fun adventure movie with really good cast!

This movie goes into another gear when hannibal and Abigail is introduced lol. He'll yeah hannibal is hilarious and Abigail is bad as and of course gorgeous. They casted these two really good lol. Definitely my favorite parts of the movie lol. In scenes I'm remembering what they say in documentary about parts like how Ryan and Jessica got themselves down to 2 or 3 percent body fat which yhe guy was like dang. Cause everyone is usually at least 40 or 50 maybe 60 sometimes body fat. They're on a while new level. Knew you guys love Abigail introduction lol. Ryan had so many funny parts in the gag reel. Like he'd keep doing the scene over and over saying almost the same stuff but adding or switch out jokes lol. Like saying he's a David Hasselhoff fan or ceil Deon fan or can't remember last one lol.

Blade was Marvels first comic to movie ever. I really hope they remake it for the new generation & cast it well. But I feel like Hollywood moved past vampires.

Hey guys I'm a big fan and it would mean the world to me if u would watch "solo". With Mario van pebbles. Its basically an independent black film so it doesn't have the biggest budget but in my opinion it's a pretty good movie, I still love it to this day. Keep kicking azz.

Seriously, Dracula was meant to be the ultimate opponent for Blade, and you guys nailed it calling him lackluster. They got a solid actor to play him too, and gave him no substance to work with. Part 2 and the Reapers really were next level overall, this one just falls short as a follow-up. The only thing you cannot shake is the fact that Snipes as Blade is fucking cool. And yeah, R.I.P. Pac-Man. I really was hoping Blade or Abigail would adopt him.

Dont know if anybody mentioned this yet but theres a alternate scene, one where that body is blades but his body went into hibernstion because thay virus killed well was supposed to kill his vampire cells but instesd it killed his human ones he wakes up in his blood rage mode and kills everybody then its upto the nightstalkers to now hunt berserker rage 24 7 blade that has no trace of humanity, second scene is where reynolds and biel go to a casino to hunt the other experiments and out jumps a goddam werewolf 😂😂😂 im so glad i got to experience all three films with you guys! Straight after my nighyshift i clicked play! Another fun fact wesley was gonna play black panther but they decided to make blade instead!!!!!

A lot of people said this was a horrible movie, however I loved it!!! Love Ryan Reynolds, HHH, Jessica Beihl, Kris Kristofferson and of course Wesley Snipes, can't go wrong with a cast like that. This is one of my fav movies, one of my fav weapons in movies is her bow, love it!!! My hubby and I love this movie, very entertaining, great cast and a good watch overall.

I have been reading Stephen King for years The dark tower is his best story of ALL his books. I think you should dive in. It's like 8 books to the series but, it's way worth it. I had to wait 2, 3, and more years for him to finish it.

You guys should watch the documentary on Blade Trinity….it’s even better than the movie. Snipes wasn’t having non of the Ryan’s BS and refused to talk to him. They basically wrote most of their dialogue off and made that joke of “he hates me” to express just how much Snipes actually hated working with him. They had to use a lot of the body double and it shows, CGI on days he refused to shoot and I think they had to finish the final scenes with a stunt man look a like. But to his defense the studio Was trying to take Blade away from Snipes and use Trinity as a launching point for a new spin off series with Hannibal and Whistler and deliberately tanked the franchise.

I love this film even if it's not that good. I think, excluding the major problems behind the scenes, that the main issue was that there were three different major plotlines all forced together into a single movie. The fugitive hunt for Blade (which didn't need real evidence), the development an anti-vampire bioweapon, and the return of the extremely depressed vampire progenitor who loathes his descendents could each have individually easily been the main plot for their own movies. But as a result of all three being forced together into the same movie, and with the subplot addition of a wider vampire hunting community that Blade already had some ties to, all of the plotlines suffered as a result because no singular thread could be properly explored.

Guys give more credit to Dracula , after centuries finally find a worthy oponent and had the fight of his life, Blade was better warrior but Dracula was Stronger and Invencible, Blade at last realize his Limit, Anyways Wesley will be always our Blade.

You guys should definitely check out the Underworld series!! All 5 movies 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Given how much I love the first two films, I really have to see this to find out if it's as bad as people say. Bought the DVD for the 13 episode series years ago. Watched it once 15 + years ago, so don't remember it well. But I do know the actor playing Blade sounded very effiminate and they had to deepen his voice. If you guys watch The Eternals, you'll get a tiny snippet of the MCU Blade in the post credits scene. Thanks for the cool vid, guys. 👍🏻
