@@JTHMRulez1 ...kinda fits, considering most stereotypes are based off a minority of the whole, so when they act bad, we assume all are bad. Today's social even does it, so makes sense to me their world do it too.
EXACTLY THIS!!! This is my issue with this metaphor, and when I first watched RWBY i thought it was gonna be different by portraying it’s Faunus as just people with ears and tails. But no. The faunus are literally just the animal people they claim not to be.

If Volume 10 ever happens, I'm sure we'll have a scene where Blake lays down on Yang's lap, and she starts to go to sleep as Yang pets her head. *That* is when Blake purrs.

When i first saw Blake I thought she was a catgirl, and then was like “oh she just has a bow on her character, that’s neat.” and then the reveal happened and I was like “FUCKEN KNEW IT”
Monty oum, the one that created RWBY and mainly wrote the story, died after season 3 so the rest of roosterteeth took over after that. I always wondered how he would have carried on the story
I’m patiently waiting for when we finally get a cool down filler episode and it’s just the whole team RWBY laying around enjoying themselves then Blake starts purring and the rest of the episode they try to get her to purr even more.

I noticed a lot in volume 2 she jumps like a cat, such as when Torchwick is in the Paladin and her and Sun jump out the window she leaps forward like one😂
Blake really has cat energy. She is like I will only be with you if I want to, keeping to herself. Yang is the opposite, like a dog, the hello I'm your best friend!! energy.
Can we just mention that the ear animations make Blake being a Cat even cuter. This is coming from someone who cosplays Blake as well, and I'll admit, after being her for a year, I've become her myself, and I've also become more social and it made me more comfortable being myself and helping me make more friends. This is all because of me watching RWBY. I hope to meet Arryn and Barbara someday and tell them myself.
Oh my gosh, the LASER POINTER!!!!! I honestly did not get that until now. As a cat person, I love and appreciate how many 'only cat owners will get it' jokes are written into Blake's character.
And with the last volume, we can add the scene before graduation, when Penny gives out her surprise animation. Everyone jumps back in confusion, meanwhile Blake jumps with curved back and stretched limbs like a scared street cat.
I’m still waiting for Weiss (or someone else but I think it’ll be funnier with Weiss) to tell her not to knock something off a counter and then she stares her dead in the eyes and knocks it off
