I was never one to follow celebrity couples or any celebrity for that matter. However, the chemistry between Gwen and Blake is undeniable. Separate from each other, they are fantastic in their own right, but together??? TOGETHER they are unstoppable, and their affection and respect for each other is so genuine and honestly beautiful!!!! I adore these two kind and wonderful people individually,, yet together, they are magnificent!!!! I think Shelton was looking for a family life and some stability that he couldn’t get from Miranda . Al they did was get drunk together. She didn’t want kids, nor like spending family time with either family. Can u imagine her making sour dough fresh bread? Or planting a garden of wildflowers? Blake loves cooking, doing the honey do chores we ask our hubbies to do. His hoochie ex wife? Nooo way. Stephanii is a mother,lover, friend , a daughter, performer and even her ex admits he blew it. That Gwen was an amazing person. They look very happy doing real things in life that matter.
It takes 2 to tango, and I’m sure Blake was not perfect. They were a poor match personality-wise and goals/values-wise. They wanted different things. Per interviews with both, they fought and broke up a lot even before getting married. They were both chasing their careers and spent little actual down time together. Not to mention they started on shaky ground. Miranda chased him when he was married, they had an emotional affair, and he divorced his wife for her. All of those things make for a rocky marriage. They were doomed from the start, but the final nail in the coffin was her cheating. It’s hard to even attempt to make things work if someone isn’t honest and faithful. Miranda wrote about not being able to control her urges for men and alcohol in her song “Vice”.
Miranda’s the home wrecker. She chased Blake until he divorced his first wife. While dating Blake, she cheated with Blake’s best friend Jayme Johnson while on tour with Jayme. She had a months long affair with Ryan Westbrook, her married tour manager while married to Blake. Blake divorced her. She then went after Evan Felker, her married opening act. He divorced his wife, then Miranda dumped him. Her current husband, Brendan McLoughlin, she went after when he was living with his baby mama and one month old. Miranda’s busted up quite a few marriages/relationships. And those are just the ones we know about. She likes the thrill of taking what isn’t hers and then gets bored. Gwen was with one man for 20 years with no scandals to her name. She didn’t have anything to do with Blake until he divorced Miranda.

The best part @ the 19:48 mark. While being interviewed w/ Kelly doing promos, Blake hears Gwen's voice sounding a bit urgent calling his name. For a split second, the look in his eyes... I'm guessing that expression is usually reserved for something he's about to kill. That primal hunter/protector a second away from becoming pretty much your worst nightmare. I never follow celebrity couples but the energy and electricity flows so magically between them it makes me want to see more. They are total opposites like me and my hubs of 31 years but they have are the total package together as are me and my hubs. The love they have will last because they put one another first and build one another up. It is also nice to see Blake show affection to Gwen. I am a believer in true love and I do believe this couple will always be together.
Hearing her talk about her ex, thinking of her songs from that time - it must have been such a sad and tough life! I know its over now but I feel so sorry that she had to go through it all.
