At the end of the game you have Bertuzzi punching your stud #1 D man and your leading goal scorer and all you did was hug him? Show some heart even if you lose who cares you have to show teams you won't just roll over.

Dillion needs to realize that Canada is next door. Many Canadian season ticket holders are Leafs fans when they show up in Buffalo. In fact, I'd bet they turn into any Candian's team fan as soon as they hit the ice. The Sabres have to become so powerful that Canadian fans will not want to show up for a nearly guaranteed loss.

Sabres just need to make the playoffs once that happens numbers of Canadien fans dwindle in that arena. This offseason is so very important for the Sabres franchise

7 million dollar cap hits for Cozens and Tage is nothing, even if both guys just had 60 points each that would be a great value. Other factors go into a bad season, players around them all had bad seasons, Quinn was out for season, Tuch was very poor, Skinner looks washed up, Peterka sat on bench all season etc. Cozens will bounce back, Tage will bounce back. I like Peterka on a line with Tage and Tuch, he’s super fast and had close to 30 goals playing almost no minutes, one game this genius coach played Peterka 6 minutes and his Son Greenway 22. No coach I’ve ever seen win a cup would play Greenway as much as Granato does, the guy is a 9 goal scorer. Coaching is the biggest problem, icetime, no adjustments, bad PP.

I guess regardless of the money they each make they both have to score more and be more dominate for the Sabres to win. I think Tage overall should be fine he still showed flashes this season although he still needs to get stronger on his skates at 6'6 there is no way you should ger pushed off the puck as easily as he does. I am more concerned about Cozens as he has looked AWFUL all year and his number more closely resemble his first 2 seasons in the league.

@@sportstalkbuffalo3775 maybe player have off seasons and need 4-5 years to be good. Cozens certainly was snake bit this year, had enough chances to get 30 goals but just couldn’t score, his linemate this year were not always good. No Quinn hurt a lot

Cozens was not taking a shot at fans rather at the team for not being good enough to have fans travel to road games.

Idk if it's that they don't give a shit( Tage Thompson I actually fully believe will have a solid bounce back if healthy prediction 74pts) however I weary about Cozens as he may be a one hit wonder

They seem very undisciplined in the D zone at times and lack what seems to be basic communication/y Understanding about who has who in the D zone

After being so close last year I can understand why he didn't really switch up to much. However as a GM you should know everyone wasn't going to have career highs again in points and help atleast a LITTLE bit

I believe this team definitely needs a coaching change, the players don’t look like they are being pushed to play hard and he makes bad decisions. Enough is enough. I will not attend another game with him as coach. Sad

Agreed. This teams needs a more fiery coach behind the bench. They all play with such a lack of passion/intensity.

Unfortunately there isn't really starting from scratch as alot of guys are still locked up long term so for better or worse we are stuck with alot of guys for awhile. Get a coach in here who will demand effort on a night to night shift to shift basis

Going on Adams 5th year Donny’s 3rd and they still suck. If nothing changes off season it will be 14 years and counting I honestly can’t handle another year of Meatball and bunch

I think unfortunately you are in for another year of Donny and Adams. Reason why is Donny hasn't started his extension yet and the Sabres don't seem like they want to pay another coach for not coaching as they have had 7 different HC in this 13 years along with 4 different GMs
