Trent's subscribers have spoken. They wanted me to Vlog. So here it is. Nothing exciting this week just working on my airplane more than flying it. Stay tuned for some very exciting stuff coming up.

You can blame Trent Palmer for a lot of things... He made me buy a Kitfox... Actually just made me want one so badly I went and bought one!
@danielpmo

Hi, Nic. I have been thinking about the kit fox. How much money do you end up putting to the point of making it fly? I saw the kit itself it is 32K. Feels like the whole assembly thing can be a fun and joyful hobby on its own.

Scott, you might be on to something. Start up a maintenance/ownership series. People are always amazed when I show them how we taxi up to a gas pump that looks like a car pump and change oil just like a car. Plus it helps us newer guys with tips and tricks for maintenance. I used a really crappy RU-vid to change my first tire, things like that.

Not at all boring, mate. I enjoy Trent's stuff. He is a remarkably talented videographer. I enjoy Mike P's stuff. The guy is a multi-talented genius. But you have something unique to offer. You are the guy who isn't afraid to admit that he doesn't know this or can't do that. The guy who can share your love of flying from an "everyman" perspective. Don't mean that in a negative way at all. For I know you're a Nobel Prize winning physicist. I am just saying don't try to be _them_. Be _you_. You'll have plenty of fans of your own. I've already subbed your channel. Keep them coming.

Glad to see the content Scott. I really appreciated this vlog. It shows people that there's A LOT more to flying than just getting in a plane, putting fuel in & going on adventures. Granted, that's why we turn the wrenches, drive an hour (or more) to get help from people you've come to trust, and do the work that HAS TO be done. This helps to paint the whole picture of what its like, and the effort it takes to own an aircraft. Might make someone wonder if its worth the work huh? Well, if you're reading this, and you're thinking about becoming a pilot, you can BET YOUR LAST NICKLE that its worth it! Blue Skies & Tail winds!!

yoooo this completely bypassed me. this is lit and you dont have to apologize at all. im sure the vast majority of us are huge airplane nerds so a video of a guy fixing an airplane is still compelling :) and for me in particular its safe to say that id prefer it over one of those highlight montages of some pretty footage without life or soul any day... only thing id change is a wider lens for inside the cockpit :) im subbed for sure! (also i wont accept the apology for editing and filming since its very apparent that you have done this before :P)

It thought it was a great blog. I have been watching Brent’s, Mike’s and all the blogs with the Flying Cowboy that I can find. Your blog was absolutely not boring. I live in Ohio and do not have the environment that you guys have to fly in. It is really interesting learning about all of your airplanes. Until I started watching the FC’s blog all I knew a about Kit Fox was that it was an airplane. I have watch a lot of blogs and have not found any of them boring. The only thing I can suggest is that you and the other FC’s number your blogs so that I can watch them in order. When I watched the one when Trent blew his engine, I think I watched some after, that was filmed before he blew. The videos of your OSH trip were numbered. Keep up the good work!
