We seem to be going backwards in the way that logic and common sense is perceived. We appear to be going back to the ways that the Catholic Church operated things in Europe back in the 1400's and prior, where "the law of the land is the law of the church" and thereby religion. To think that a natural disaster can be 'controlled' is mind boggling. Go ask the people that survived Hurricane's Katrina ('05), Wilma ('05), Ike ('08), Sandy ('12), Harvey ('17), Irma ('17), Florence ('18), Ida ('21), Ian ('22) & now Helene ('24) to name some and ask if they believe that they believed that the weather was being controlled? Its not being discriminatory to the 'red states' that is just the path it went through. If someone could control mother nature, then we wouldn't have climate change, the Ice caps would be expanding, Winter seasons would be prevalent and the heat wouldn't be over 100+ degrees during what would be considered Autumn season in many states and many animal, insect, plant, and sea life wouldn't be on the verge of extinction.
