The dining experience starts in the bar area, where guests locate a menu. Offering a wide variety of food, from sandwiches to seafood, there's something for everyone. When you are ready to order, raise up your menu and a friendly waitstaff person will present themselves to take your order.
Once your table is ready, you'll be promptly seated and greeted with your soup or salad.
Overall, our dining experience was delightful. However, as food enthusiasts, it was disappointing to detect a hint of instant potato flakes in the baby red mashed potatoes. This addition detracted slightly from their otherwise enjoyable flavor. Personally, I would have preferred a smaller portion of authentic mashed potatoes over the inclusion of any shortcuts.
Similarly, while the "famous" homemade dressing was enjoyable, it didn't quite live up to its reputation, leaving me wondering what exactly made it famous. On a brighter note, John thoroughly enjoyed his Seafood Platter, particularly praising the beer batter on the french-fried lobster. He expressed interest in returning specifically for the fish fry, a testament to the quality of certain dishes despite the overall mixed experience.
