I can’t wait to see Yoko , P’Faye and the cast sweep up their well deserved awards. They played the shit outta these characters. I never cried so many thug tears while watching a GL series. The ending was perfect and I can’t wait to see them in their future work. What an amazing series that started off looking skeptical. I’m glad I watched it.
Honestly i liked the older actresses, specially Khun Neung. the way she acted, the way she looked at Neung reminded me a lot of how Faye does it. Also it looks realistic to me 🫶
One thing I gotta mention is the parallel between Sam in GAP and Neung in Blank. They are both M.L..... literal royalty!!! Sam fully got on her knees and pretended to be a dog just to prove to Mon how much she loved her 😒 Here Neung begged, got shouted at, slapped she took everything they threw at her just to prove how much she loved Aneung😮. I just find this so powerful❤. Really gonna miss this series 😢
i love how KN spoke up at the hospital. it goes back to the first season when AN mentioned them both hiding their true emotions except to each other during that walk home, as well as after the wake for KN grandmother when she mentioned them wearing the same face. her forgiving herself like AN asked after the song conversation. it all came to a head where she spoke truths we all been thinking but also showing she was ALWAYS LISTENING AND LEARNING from AN. but it also says something that KN is of ROYAL blood to do so much for AN through her communication with her family and her ACTIONS cooking food for THEM, taking care of AN toenails, reading to her, bathing her, etc.)... just wow. and if one thinks about it, when KN and AN had that convo after the dinner, where AN said she would take care of KN as she got older, it speaks volumes that KN did it for her regardless of an age issue. because one can assume that AN was right that as they got older she would be the caretaker, but KN had to be one first. the other parts that really got me with this whole finale was the radio call. we got AN's perspective like we did with KN in the previous epi. but the pic of the graduation hit me cause I knew what was coming (proposal/exchange of vows or promises) cause AN said they should get married after she graduated in season 1 after KN cooked for her the first time. KN has ALWAYS been listening, so she waited and then did what AN requested. and the proposal was so special, because you could really see it was an everlasting love between the characters and the actresses themselves. AN looked like finally while KN still is learning to be good with showing some things of herself. but this is also faye and yoko having a moment of going on this journey of blank together. but really it is about their journey together outside of the show, cause they are connected now for life with the impact of this show on the world and themselves. the first meeting scene... amazing as well. ah, so much to say. sorry for the long comment. but I just really loved this series and it is one of the tops I've seen and really enjoyed where i waited each week to watch (which is a miracle because i hate waiting week to week to watch anything). anyway, great reaction, nikki! later to all the blankets!

P'Faye acted her ass off throughout this entire series (Yoko too)...The mom (Fah) was never the problem for me! You could see in episode 5 that she knew the love was genuine between Khun Nueng and Anueng, she was just pressured by Chet and the grandmother! Even in this finale, she never was harsh with her, but mainly hurt and emotional because her child was in the hospital....All in all, they did the novel justice!
I totally understand P'Wan needing to show the older version of them. Yeah it was a bit heavy handed but once more I get it. It was needed to be seen that their relationship is going strong many many years later, so there is no room for what ifs. Totally agree with you THIS is the best GL show. When it started, I was one of those people who thought of dropping the show. But I gave it a shot and read the novel. After that, I knew how special the story was. The show writers took that novel and lifted the story even more. Their work is brilliant!!! Actors top notch!!! Faye is acting genius, but I have to say that almost every episode I was so surprised by Yoko. She was so amazing!!! I appreciate the whole season 1 and the team for writing it as it is. Even though it meant that many people left the show, it was so important to set the story and the characters. Overall, I am still not ready to say goodbye. This show was really so brilliantly done that I am not sure if anything can top it.
I agree, the scene when they first met was definitely my favorite one too. Furthermore, I totally agree with your analysis of the scene. To add, I really enjoyed that Anueng wasn’t over the top annoying in the beginning. Like you said in earlier videos, Anueng used that chosen personality to disarm Khun Nueng. The Youngling was tactical😂
Yoko said to an interview if ever she has amnesia she'll go back to the beach with Faye to do it again. Faye said then is hug Yoko lol. i think Yoko really loves the marriage/proposal scene. it was so intimate.
Actually she explained in another interview, in answer to the question “what is a moment that made you think you can trust your partner?” And Yoko answered that there was a scene at the beach that they had to get wet from the water but she wasn’t ready for that, and Faye carried her on her back so she wouldn’t get wet - and the reason it was extra special was that Faye had just injured her shoulder in the a confrontation scene so Yoko asked her if it hurts (carrying her) and Faye answered that it’s fine and just kept carrying her.. She said that it touched her deeply

I do cry during your reaction. My english is not good but i do understand .the deepest love of khun neung has for ar neung . Since i lost my beloved one by cancer 7 years ago. I took care of her during that time with hopeless. Seeing your beloved dying not as easy. I love her so much. I never ever stop thinking of her. We both are introverts.we only have one another .i am not lucky like khun neung that got ar neung back. Nowadays i try to stay alive . The only i can do is visit her relic compartment almost everyday untill now.
FayeYoko deserves an award for this like their acting is top tier! Like I said before this is the best GL series I've watched. Kudos to this team for a job well done.
watching khun neung be so vulnerable in front of piengfa and chet and begging them touched me so much. knowing her personality and her upbringing as well as her status just makes that whole part more insane. I'm so happy that the show has a happy ending and it's the kind that doesn't end in the typical wedding scene but it shows how two people who faced such hardships and troubles were able to be together for a long time, even after their "honeymoon" love phase. great reactions and thoughts nikki, I really enjoyed watching you!
Truly the best GL I've ever seen and dare I say Blank is in my top 3 favorite shows. Everyone performed beautifully and the show wrapped up nicely. I hate to see it go, but this isn't a goodbye. We will see them again❤

On the Livestream there was no "16 years later" card. So we were just thrown into seeing these strangers canoodling. This might the only thing I'll never get over. Cause watching i was like are these the book characters? Is this fiction within fiction? And i agree AN taking a deep breath before approaching KN was amazing. Good choice for a favorite scene. Mine will forever me their first kiss
They didn't change it, but P'Wan as CEO admitted that it was so hard to find Kun Neung, they want someone who is masculine, sexy,handsome,and there are so many actresses who auditioned for it, but they couldn't find it. Until P'Wan called Faye to try the audition & even read the script. After that, Faye got it & they needed to find Aneung. Yoko got it also because she is so connected with Faye in audition
I was one of those blankets last week that wasn’t a fan of the switch up but when I watched it on yt again, I think it is beautiful, I cried even more! We rarely see if our couples make it, this proves they still together. But I agree Nikki, that girl don’t look like yoko 😂😂

I am glad I am not the only one who has this reaction to seeing feet hahaha I do think the book did the radio reveal a bit better. If I remember correctly it mentions Khun Neung listening to that radio station a lot during the coma period because it was Aneung's favourite. So she is listening to it while she is at home at one point. After hearing Aneung on the radio she then rushes to the hospital. That way it is possible to imagine that the hospital did do the tests before she could call and it is not such big a coincidence that the radio was on at that exact moment hahaha Either way, I am so happy with this last episode. It's been awhile since I was so moved by a Drama.

I’m so sad it over but I loved every money of this BLANK THE SERIE Journey!! Also thank you for speaking about Atrophy, I had to explain why she needed the walker to a few of my close friends who didn’t think it was a real thing. I’ve had to learn to walk 4 times due to Atrophy, that was caused from all the surgeries I e had from childhood until now (27 surgeries in total)!! I would have rathered a smaller time jump with Yoko and Faye. I hated the 16 years. Also, during the coma my 9 year old son was like "Maybe she should kiss her and she will wake up" 😂❤

The older versions were eehhh.. BUT the mannerisms of the characters is what sold me.. Overall, it was just an amazing ending.. Faye owned this episode but my girl Yoko ❤ I fell in love..Girl was crying in almost episode.. Honestly it Started for Faye for me but Yoko won my heart..❤ Above all the best GL/chemistry I've come across.. (Note:I'm still NEW to GL series😊)
I‘m so thankful for your analysis, it‘s so precious. Indeed, „true love“ exists and sometimes we are the lucky ones to meet our true love, I‘ll never give up on this thought. There are often strange things happen in a coma. People who are in that condition are realizing more than science could ever explain, espacially when it comes to feelings and „energies“ around them. Maybe little Nueng didn‘t wake up until she felt that all the problems between her family and Khun Nueng had been solved. Sometimes it‘s a kind of magic, not only because it‘s a movie.🥰❤ And I think this series is also that good because a woman directed it. I don’t know why. Apart of the awesome acting I truly believe, that particularly women can show the whole aspect of gentleness, caring, tenderness and loving. ❤ And omg what a great mum you have, love her opinion about guiding and owning. Yeah. They could have easily just made a little effort to make them look older themselves! Instead of replacing them with two new people. But it was a minor issue for me.
Yoko and Faye did sooo freaking good in this series. Like they acted their butts off. It actually didn't bother me with them going with different actresses for the 16yr jump. I will say that the one to replace Yoko wasn't what I would have envisioned. I loved how they ended it though. I'm a creep because just like Stupid Wife, I thought we were going to get one more demon time for the road lol.
I think the radio scene was actually Aneung was already wake up right after KN have spoken to Chet..but she maybe on process on that time and by the time KN chatting with Khun Sam Aneung has already fresh enough to make a move(call the radio) since KN wasn’t there. That’s my opinion 🫢🫢
32:10 I guess besides the fear of losing Anueng, Khun Nueng was going through all her trauma all over again, cause she lost her parents, she lost her grandmother when they were not in good terms, she lost her sister and she was experiencing all that fear again
the only thing i would've liked was for them to kiss when she got to aneung at the end... and if the mom walked in during that moment it would've been priceless. Also wasn't a fan of the actress changes😂

When u said u didn't like the part when Nueng called the radio station and that the writer in u made u feel that way,i also write and so i can c y she called the radio station...she called cause it was the last thing she would have printed in her memory and knew that Ar-nueng would be listening and would run to her like she ran to her after hearing her on the radio show...my only thing is her voice after waking up should not have sounded so clear,my friend years ago had her baby at hospital and went into a coma for 1month,said she roamed the hospital and hung out with other patience then she saw herself on the ceiling looking down at herself on the bed then she opened her eyes and first thing she remembered was she did give birth and ask for her baby....sorry my english is caribbean english so when i comment i hope u will understand. Side note the other patience were dead because after being told she was in a coma she realized the patience she hung out with were dead ppl.

30:56 yeah..... Getting in the shower doesn't really help for me. It heighten the feeling actually, it gets worst. Also, I've been doing it in the shower. What else can you do when showering is part of your routine and that numbing and empty sensation just keeps lingering on you, especially in the showers, cause no one would found out what you're doing inside? Hence the feeling/sensation intensify.😏🤫

Nah I was with you on Chet 2 episodes ago, because you could logically see where he was coming from to an extent. Then instead of reflecting on anything, he sat in his anger and came out in this episode a whole ass.

I have to say, sadly, i was not a huge fan of this ending. The 16 year flash-forward was pretty bad in my opinion, but i thought the biggest problem was how they developed the chet and grandma characters… Like idk, the way literally every single thing fell into place was too perfect, to the point of being unrealistic. I reckon, from how they’ve behaved during the entire serie, chet and grandma simply would not have supported the relationship… at most they could’ve tolerated it for the sake of not being removed from aneung’s life, but no such thing as “please take care of her for me” like, i think chet would’ve literally never talkied to khun neung ever again, same thing grandma.. Like, idk, sometimes not everything in life goes perfectly, sometimes people are haters and i think they should’ve showed it, you don’t need people like chet and grandma to be on you side to be happy 💀 I have to say tho, the proposal was e v e r y t h i n g Btw the actor who plays folk won some sort of cooking show in thailand, that’s probably why they made him a chef 🤣
Am I the only one who prefers the ending of the novel I mean I love to see that their love continued but the character "development" of aneung's family members was too out of plot
@Praewee_ so first there was no 16 years later only 5 years later -Chet didn't actually accept or support their relationship he tolerate it, infact he even asked aneung to go to America with her mom and he showed her a list of men to date . This man was still homophobic and personally I like it . This show how people from older generation are never willing to explore or accept something new because they think thier way is better -Piengfah was not there when her daughter wake up and only received the news through a phone call knowing that aneung was only 19 in the novel I think she should at least be more present in her daughter life -The grandma did NOT accept thier relationship just like chet she had no choice but to tolerate it for the fear of losing her granddaughter while here it's shown that aneung's family accept khun neung because of how much she cared about neung that didn't happen in the novel they tolerate their relationship because of the fear of losing aneung. The ending in the novel highlighted something that the show decided to ignore which is the trauma khun neung gained after the car accident. In last chapter they had a little fight so aneung deceided to drive which scared khun neung telling her that she should never drive alone and the last scene was a spice scene with some cucumbers 🤭

But abusive grandma becoming a cutiepie and homohobic ass chet going “take her of her for me” like nah.. i thought that was just out of character for them, those people would’ve simply blocked khun neung out of their lives
Did I get emotional in this episode - no, not really Would I prefer the action to be carried out as written in @efeme5160 comment - YES What made me laugh - waking up from a coma after 3 months, and the first thing you do is call the radio... very "realistic" (unless Aneung woke up and the doctor checked her condition after waking up, I guess I have to assume) I agree that Faye conveyed the emotions of her character well in this episode
Dude when she started talking on the radio i went: “Oh, so… the radio recorded this 5 months ago? And now they’ve decided to air it? … well, okay” Then i realised “oh no she’s live” 💀😭
