Blanket to Pillow LIFEHACK 

It looks like I'm going to have to get a cat to fold blanket to pillow correctly.

I am absolutely blown at how good your directions are! I watched a couple other videos and just couldn’t get it, but you saying to grab the corners after reaching in the pocket at the end, really helped me out 😭

Great idea! This is helpful for folding blankets for storage over summer, too. I can never get them compact enough without using on of those plastic vaccum space savers bags to put more than 2 or 3 at a time in a bin for storage.

This video would be much easier to follow if you had used a blanket that had totally different pattern on each side (like, "the good side" would be green and the "bad side" yellow. That said, I managed to fold my guest room blanket into a pillow. Mind you, this was not my first blanket-pillow. But thank you for refreshing my memory on this.

dang, i hope this works. It seems so wasteful to have pillows and blankets always being separate things. In some parts of the world (Afghanistan, for example), ponchos or capes double as blankets. Some backpacking or hiking outerwear (ponchos) are designed expressly for that. I think the filling in quilts and comforters would make the best folded-pillows, though - as far as being soft and fluffy enough to use as a pillow for a couch. I recently discovered that a standard 20x26 pillow is far to big for me and that a 12"x24" or longer pillow would waste less space and be more comfortable. Finding inserts that match the sizes of the cases is a nightmare, though - especially since I want a pillow case that is both pretty enough to display and also smooth enough to sleep on. 12x24" pillows and cases are rather common sizes, yet many sources say I actually need a 13 or 14" wide x 25" or 26" long insert to go into a 12x24" pillow case. And, I want the case to match my decor. Somebody please open a company to make this easier!
