Blantyre Weir Fish Pass River Clyde 

Blantyre weir is a large weir and it must be 12ft high. It is the 3rd weir on the River Clyde and it has a hydro turbine. It has a pool and weir type of fish pass that was built in 1993.
The fish pass has poor attraction so the fish will have difficulty finding where it is. The wall on the second level up has washed away so making it more difficult for the fish to get past.
