When the victim told Waraich about this, he quietly sent her to Pakistan on the pretext of Bakrid. After this, the Pakistani High Commission called the victim and asked her to leave the job and Waraich's house by June 30. Meanwhile, Minhaj returned from Pakistan and started working in Waraich's residence again. This incident shocked the victim badly. On June 28, 2024, she went to Tilak Marg police station and lodged a complaint against Minhaj Hussain. Delhi Police registered an FIR under section 354 of the IPC. After this, Minhaj was sent back to Pakistan on June 30. He was living in India on an official passport and visa.

It's so unfortunate that many countries have something or the other to implicate the fellow citizens .In Pakistan it's blasphemy, in India we have similar laws where, if a female complains of sexual misbehaviour or a low caste person complaining against a person belonging to the higher caste, life of the allegedly accused person becomes Even in THE US, we have seen the "Me too" movement where just one side is given all the power to make accusations and the so-called accused has to live through the hell.
