A DIY version could be hula-hoops cut in half. A variety of sizes can offer you a lot of choices to your liking.

Are you a Star alum? I saw this show live, asked about recordings and was told they'd be out later that year... in 2003. Ever since I've been looking; I heard there was a limited CD cut for the cast but have been unable to find a copy. I remember the awe-inspiring opening of the 2nd act (Carmina Burana), the "cell phone ringer" gag, and the Bohemian Rhapsody hilarity. If you have any other recordings PLEASE post them!

Because it practically is, or at Blast least took winterguard as the art form it is and created inspiring shows using winterguard as a vessel.

I too want to find a recording...not sure why this didn't take off because I really think, this tune anyway, is even better than blast! the original...would really like to see the rest of the show!

I think Shockwave would have been far more successful if "Blast II" had not been in its title. It was advertised as a sequel to Blast but was substantially different from the original. It was a good show, but should have been advertised as a show in its own right.
