This case got thrown on Cross he then went to hospital and then came out looked at the case there was ZERO actual evidence so he threw it out and then after he quit coz he hasn’t been around and doesn’t wanna be a judge anymore same with all 4-5 other judges leaving
If it is an admin decision, then it should be clear, so players know who is accountable. Transparency, objectivity, accountability, empathy. Some good concepts for running an organization.

Dismissing the case entirely and giving no chance to bring it back up simply just removes tons of potential RP. Makes absolutely zero sense in RP. Even Whippy was talking about it on stream about how it is just a bad move and makes no sense. The judge not only dismissed it, but then made it so no one can ever bring it up again, and then perma'd his judge character. If you don't see that as just straight up killing RP scenarios then what else can it be?
Well Moon Moon said he wasn't coming back so what the point of RPing the case? If the main guy isn't going to be there it would just be wired. I think it's ok to just move on because it got weird max is gone and CG got to do some cool anti establishment and revolution RP.

I think a middle ground between the two is the best. Most OOC violations should be moved to in character roleplay when it makes sense. For example, VDM/RDM doesn't really need to be something that is handled OOC. Everyone is immortal in the city, its not a big deal if a hit an run happens. Just make sure that the penalty for getting caught doing a hit and run is a big consequence in character. Regarding RDM, the EGO act covers this. Its just not necessary to make it an OOC rule, if someone is found abusing the fact that there is no OOC rule for this, then all you need is to get an Admin to give them a warning, and if they do it again they get banned or suspend. Then like Blau said, they shouldn't be afraid to break immersion to enforce rules that need to be enforced. The rule of 6 really isn't something you can realistically add into the mechanics of the game. This means that if someone is looking to have a big story line of fighting back against the PD or Government, then they should be typing in OOC chat asking for permission to organize an attack, and staff should approve the attack. This way, all of the parties are aware about what is going on, and no one (especially the viewers) can complain, accusing someone of breaking the rules. I look at the recent Saab video that was posted where there was an admin request for him to deal with a lifer that wasn't talking. Saab was kind of put in an awkward place where he had to try and roleplay as local DOC to check on the player and make sure the ban was justified. It should just be normalized for him to speak to the character in OOC chat. According to some comments it seems like the player applied to be a lifer that was mute. Saab didn't know that, so it ended up with him banning the lifer. With that being said, it should feel natural for someone that is mute to just talk to people using OOC chat to help clue them in on the fact that their character is supposed to be mute.
the judge ruling that made the case impossible to be brought up again and then quit and kill off the character, is like a gamer that is so sick of the game, he decides to turn on hacks and get himself banned.
The 4.0 government felt like reddit moderators trying to punish any RP they didn't like by nuking tons of time and progress. When 99% of the issue was the devs making PD equipment better than the same shit crims had for no reason. Just make body armor body armor and let people buy a splint at the store instead of these weird ass restrictions on gear.

@@tihseht472 Its not a player controlled government making laws though. Koil has made it very clear that the DOJ were supposed to be making laws this whole time. Crane purposely created an environment that made Judges afraid of doing basically anything on their own, as they will tell you, the Judges have been told by Crane to operate as a united front, even if they disagree. Since the only form of player run government was in control of Crane's best friend (as evidence by his cop character and the fact him and Lenny named theirselves Eclipse), obviously the previous government was going to fail. At least with there being two governments, players will be allowed to choose which laws they want to be exposed to. If they don't like the laws in the city they can buy a house in Blaine county and spend the bulk of their time up there. It gives them options, instead of being forced to live by the rule of a single dictator that gave himself complete control of the Police Department.
Personally, and I have been watching this, but it seems they wat the cops and the justice dept to have "all" the RP. Seems every time the crim"s want to have some RP they just block it.
@@rockyroad7247 Its actually kind of hilarious how down many crims are for lawyer/justice system RP, even down to the fact that basically every gang participates in the election process and hearing out the candidates. I've seen so many criminals wait 4 hours staring at a wall in the cells to get a benchtrial for a case that would have only give them like 1hour of prison time. When trials do finally happen after months of waiting, the amount of criminals that show up to watch it is kind of insane considering that they literally have nothing to do at a trial other than just stand still and listen. Yet somehow the lawyers get treated like the bad guys in character by the police when the lawyer is just doing their job, and out of character the criminals get treated like all they want to do is shoot.
Admins should not have positions of power handed to them and they shouldn't be able to influence RP, this is a perfect example as well as MoocMoocs entire situation and ESPECAILLY the unnamed admin recently telling admc members not to join the PD/Court take over a few days ago
For this ruling even Koil was confused so he asked the guy that plays the judge OOC what was the reason for this ruling and never got a response. He even said him not responding explains everything. He's gone and all government workers including DOJ will be held accountable when doing something the people don't agree with. So things can only get better since they can't worst than this.

Koil even spoke on it multiple times.
His parents are lawyers. He was an admin for the express purpose of gaining insight on how the place operates and all the tensions between improvisation actors/streamers and devs/admins. He was not there to administer.
@@mikephillips1043 You're making this joke but.... for literal MONTHS everybody just sat around talking about how bored they were everyday. There was maybe 15% of the server even trying to roleplay story arcs, another 35% just TDM shootouts for a few weeks, and then most of the businesses weren't even being worked at. It quite literally did die off toward the end. Not to mention the server not even filling slots for an entire like 3 months? They were over 100 people UNDER the server limit at any given time.
@@mackelson-vm2ms you werent watching the right people maybe... the final maybe 3ish months were slow because 0 updates and nothing new was happening because 4.0 was coming soon so people didnt want to start an arc they couldnt finish. The end of 3.0 was great with sanguine, there was an arc with peppos crim edgar that had alot of depth and multiple gangs, some decent gang wars, cerberus collapsing, there was alot of good shit. Maybe you just watched people that piggy backed on RP instead of.creating it.

Cerberus collapsed because of events by CG before they had left. Most of the gang wars, like 10 people got banned for RDM? Yeah that sure sounds like some "decent" gang wars. You think because the 3 streamers you watched at the end of 3.0 were still RPing, that the other 200 were also RPing, and that the server didn't fall SEVERELY under the max cap. They did that in 3.0, nopixel literally died, the numbers fucking plummeted, cops complained there was absolutely nothing to do (shocker cg does all the crime), and they made prodigy have more viewers than nopixel. Cg viewers for 6 months been begging cg to leave nopixel and go back to prodigy. So I guess you're half right cg viewers would be happier if cg left, everyone else would be crying when all the views go with cg and the server dies.

If you see this as complaining rather than looking at how illogical the entire situation is in RP, then you simply don't care for good RP. This situation just removes RP scenarios Kebun's main point was why not reject the case and have the judge say to come back when you have at least better reasoning and evidence. But then he not only dismissed the case, but dismissed it with prejudice (meaning the case can never be brought back up again), and then making that the last thing his judge character does before perma'ing lmao You either don't have the full context on all of this, or you're just one of those redditors who doesn't use logic when it comes to RP
Don’t like it fiveM has thousands of servers many which have tons of ppl and rp. Glad i left public to a good server which allows loosing stuff businesses, gangs, etc with even events monthly for everybody with LITTLE SCUFF haha. Np staff be pushing the wring way imho.
If u look at their complaints its always rp based. Its cops abusing power killing rp and now its admins ruining rp. U seem like somebody that watches clips and forms an opinion
They never normally go ooc in game. Sure sometimes they get like mad and make some comments to there stream but they don't like let ooc stuff mess with the in game roleplay and interactions with other players in the game.
Maybe he should leave back to prodigy and let NP fall down to less than 100 people under the server cap, and every streamer talking about how bored they are, and how there isn't shit to do in the city without CG, and the cops complaining that the only crime they can respond to is hydra doing meth runs. Server would have MUCH better rp surely.
