BlaXit Developing Africa Bla Xit Link Up with Dynast Amir  

Greetings of peace and love😘. Today's episode is all about the link up of the Bla Xit family with subscribers from the UK, Africa and US. Dynast Amir came to Gambia especially to meet us so we were so honoured to spend time with him. I hope you enjoy it. With the rise of blatant racism and discrimination and publicised killings in the Diaspora of Africans by those responsible for our protection. We found it necessary to discuss this although most of the content is off camera we all agreed that we need to go home. The expressionukkk was my way of expressing my total disappointment with recent events that have shown terrible racism and discrimination against Africans which I have found so troubling and heart breaking in the UK. You may have noticed a slight delay in putting up videos this is due to the fact that productions can be made when we have enough donations to cover some of the production costs. As a Jamaican I completely see the similarities in my Jamaican to african languages, so many words and the names of the fruits are also the same. I love Jamaica but I also dream of visiting Africa. Hi Juliet I am a big fan of yours and enjoy watching you. I was thinking, it would be great to feature some 'Creole" people, otherwise known as' Akus'. They make less than 5% of the population of Gambia. Creoles are descendants of Fred slaves sent to Sierra Leone, Freetown who later migrated to Gambia and to other parts of West Africa. They have their roots from England and the West Indies and have English names. They speak a dialet similar to Patios. I think they get forgotten sometimes when people talk about Gambia. I think it's because Creoles can be very reserved 😊. I could go on and on. You can do further research for more information I am sure the Blaxit audience will find it interesting and also see how we are all connected. Many thanks and keep up the good work

Bla xit I love your program, I had one of the gentleman talking about soso means only in igbo language, do you know that Jamaica people are igbos sold in millions in the slave era to American and British. They igbo cultures are still practice in Jamaica today and few of igbo languages are kept till now.

1) The best comments I heard were those of Charles about language similarities. Have you done a video about indigenous (pre islam) Gambian cultures (including foods, customs, beliefs, dress, etc) and areas there? I love to see Africans doing such topics when traveling Africa instead of portraying westernized Africa. 2) I think we have to question the use of the word diaspora. 3) You simply have THE BEST, on point, music of the many videos about Africa I have seen!!
