Blazblue Alter Memory Opening 

Say what you want about the actual anime but the opening is kickass

for as badly as the anime generally holds up to the game, the OP and ED are one of the few things that they nailed just right. Imo, they both deserve to have a place among the game's kickass intros and bgms

This anime was weirdly the start of me getting into blazblue lmao.

I wish we got more from this, a lot of people hate it I found it decent. It gave more purpose to Makoto, though be it that was an... odd way to use her. I can see what's so bad about it but then there are all the good things about the show, what few there are. I just wish we went a bit more in depth, a lot of character's are pretty pointless in this show :/.

This anime really deserves at least one more season based on Chrono Phantasma.

It seems that lots of the reviews I've read and alot of fans say that this is a terrible anime. I think this was a great anime but it's strictly for blazblue fans. The problem with this anime is that assumes you have played the games and know who all the characters are and know their back stories. If you are a fan of the blazblue series you will appreciate this anime since it's basically fan service. If you have never played any of the games in the series you will have no idea what the hell is going on and probably end up not liking it.

This show was criminally underrated if people gave it more or a chance maybe it could of gotten better because it is the same as the games just needs a chance to be made better

Alter Memory wasn't the best anime I've seen, though it did get me interested in the BlazBlue series

Having seen playthroughs of the games and having watched the anime, I'll admit there are some things the anime could have done better. At the same time, I still really like the anime and there are some things it did well. I especially love the episode that focuses entirely on Lambda and Ragna - that wasn't in the game, as far as I know, and it gives so much more meaning to what happens to Lambda later. It also does a great job of making you realize there's a time loop from the very beginning. I like the flashbacks to Ragna's past as well.

That look of pure determination in Jin's eyes and then there's that look of unadulterated hatred in Ragna's eyes. Just wow.

Yo this opening straight up sounds like a Kuroko no Basket opening. Like compare the openings by the band that did the Basket openings with this one. It's weirdly similar, only difference being the different genders of the singers. Both vocalists have oddly similar accents while singing, and how they pronounce English words as well, And the energy and pace of the song matches a lot of the Basket ones too.

I played the 3 newest games, and even I don't know what the hell this anime was about. It's confusing as all hell, but it's really entertaining nonetheless.

Lets face it, everyone: Alter Memory was not a quality anime, or at least not at the level of Bleach or Naruto. But then, this is not made to be utterly perfect, but rather just a fast summary of the story so far until Chrono Phantasma. A tip to all who wants to enjoy Alter Memory to its fullest: Either play the games, then watch the anime, or watch the anime, read up on all the names you remember and then watch it again. And also, don't get worked up for some bad animations. I found the anime quite good anyway.

I mean It's not bad. It's pretty good. Not quality great, but pretty good. It's made for people who understand blazblue, I would rather play the games, but I would still sit down, watch this anime. And enjoy it, doesn't excuse some lazy animation though.

I think the blazblue anime could have benefited from being longer, it really felt like so many characters were just introduced and disappeared immediately afterwards

Pro tip: watch the anime before playing the game. You'll understand the story a bit better and you probably will like this anime too...maybe. (I personally liked it. Wasn't the best, but still waaay above the worst.)
