Umm.. Well. Hakumen is the result of Jin sacrificing himself into the Susanoo unit from his original failed timeline that Rachel saved him from. So... The Susanoo unit from the current timeline is technically untouched... This match up makes total sense. Jin has to destroy the current timeline Susanoo unit to keep Terumi from attaining the power of an undamaged Susanoo unit, considering all the power Hakumen has is half of what it was before he fought the black beast. It’s really badass to imagine Jin having to kill something twice as strong as he is, and fused with Terumi on top of that. Hopelessly outmatched, but he fights for justice anyway.
I friggin love how those two have a Vs. theme ("Gods of War"), even though logically they can never fight each other ever. It's the first thing I thought about after finishing story mode and Daisuke Ishiwatari didn't disappoint.
月 IMP I didn't think of that. With all the timeline shenanigans it doesn't seem impossible. There are several Hakumen, but only one Susano'o (because CF's timeline is the only one where he ever regained the Unit). Then again, the events after Terumi reclaimed the Susano'o Unit make it unclear if any timelines even still existed.
月 IMP That's true, but he only returned after Ragna/Master Unit remade the world and consequently all its timelines. Only Susano'o/Terumi doesn't exist there anymore.
Yourson Isold Actually it was before. He returned to his world after he saved Rachel from being dumped into the boundary by Hazama and calming down Ragna who went berserker against Hazama. This was before Ragna going after Susano'o
Marcus Calixte Lore-wise Hakumen is the soul of Jin from another timeline stuck inside the Susano'o Unit. Susano'o himself is Terumi (The Big Bad) After booting Hakumen out of the armor and taking it for himself. What I imagine is that a small bit of Hakumen's soul is still inside the Susano'o Unit and is fighting off Susano'o's influence just enough so that Ragna can defeat him.
That's not true, Entropy beats both. and Entropy is more Chaos than Order. Although yes, Hakumen's order beats Terumi's Chaos hands down. Terumi can never beat Hakumen.
Oh...my...GOD. This is a battle for the ages: the White Susano'o and the Black Susano'o, fighting the ultimate battle for supremacy, to ultimately decide who is truly worthy of the Susano'o Unit.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing Hakumen defeat Susano'o/Terumi. Like "This is your body and yet I can use it better. Even a mortal can surpass you "god"."
Now that...was a real battle. By the way, could you do a Susano'o VS Izanami using their original colours without skipping the intro? I always wanted to see that. It'll be the battle of the gods!
@EdMarlo Ulpindo Gameplay-wise, Jin wore it better too. In CentralFiction, Hakumen is generally considered one of the better characters therein, whereas Susanoo is perhaps the worst. Lore-wise, this makes sense, because even though the Susanoo unit is Terumi's original body, by the time he finally gets it back, he's about 2000 years out of practice with it, hence the 8 seals. Jin, on the other hand, still knows how to use it just fine.
@@smugcu3073 yes but Hakumen with prep and at 100% should be able to kill Susanoo permanently with both Time Killer and Demon Slayer(an ability designed to permanently end Terumi). but yes SUSANOO is stronger than Hakumen
Swordsman vs. Swordsman God oh that's a good fight scene for BlazBlue Central fiction but I like the way you Hakman and susanoo bike together for the battlefield
Yeesh I never seen Susanoo before but with the appearence of a sinister Hakumen, I nearly mistaken him as a brother. He looks dope, I ain't gonna lie there.
Susanoo is just Terumi with the susanoo unit as he was the original owner in the first place, but somewhere down the line he eject himself from the unit forcefully. as time when it became jin's
People here saying Susano'o would win when you guys are totally forgetting that Hakumen IS Jin, and Jin was chosen by the World to be the one to balance the scales of Order and Chaos - The Power of Order. The stronger the threat, the greater the Power of Order is. So, 100% Hakumen and Susano'o WILL be EQUAL in power-scaling. It all boils down to who wears and uses the Susano'o Unit better. Jin, hands down, has a natural affinity for the Unit and he wears it without any ill effects even though he wasn't made to wear it. Meanwhile, Terumi just HATES being inside it because it binds him to Amaterasu.
According to Shinto myth, Susano'o was literally birthed from snot that Izanagi sneezed when he came out of the underworld. So... Jin. Naturally fitting of him.
For everyone who say that it is possible for this fight to happen, No it's not possible. There can only be one susanoo unit since the Susano'o unit were Sankishin (Original Unit / God), and by that the unit itself isn't affected by the timeline or by the world itself, even Susano'o unit special power is able to cut down a timeline without creating a paradox. But still, if this fight does happen somehow it'll be preety darn cool
Usually I end up with a downed Haku with Suzu saying "Na, aite ga warukatta na!" (Sucks for you, me being your opponent) which is fitting since Terumi can use the unit better than Haku would ever be able to.
This isn't due to Jin being weaker, but due to his boundary journey, his power is always at 10% - 20%. If given full power, especially Jin's power of Order, Hakumen would be a different beast. Keep in mind at 10% he mops the floor with Ragna.
Honestly, seeing how we didn't get all of these Susanoo themes in any official OST, and Daisuke wouldn't create a VS theme just for lolz... Next Blazblue game might be a lot closer thatn we might think. Although they never released Black Onslaught 2 either, and Terumi's second theme too, who's gone for good at this point... Meh.
I really want to know sometimes what the bot "hell" mode is doing... Looks like just random inputs, they react at grabs really quick and does normal combos as hell but... When is about specials or distortions they just do it to miss...
Not as easy as Susano'o. Once you get his Manatama management down he is pretty easy. His air combos are hard for beginners because of inputting 2A-9-2A but, if you got that down it's simple and always lands the hit. I think he is more ground based in this game though so that's great for beginners.
The hard hitting moves are slow. Characters like Es and Litchi can stop him from doing high damage. He has to rely on his A and B moves to get a hit in and combo with Cs. He can do High damage but if you think the opponents would let you use C starters then it's gonna be a hard time. His great C moves in this game is 3C since it's fast and long range but leaves a giant opening and jumping 2C since it's a downward motion that has a lot of active frames. Also, his C moves don't combo like they use to now you need to use 6A and 6B to keep it going, or IAD 5B-2A.
realize black susanoo storywise isn't terumi original full power body, but only terumi trying to refuse with his body and ragna defused it. next BB game, to the rescue of ragna! and susano'o buffed, with his original power before black beast
Susanoo is dead. Or rather Terumi is dead. For real this time. Terumi had managed to extend his life for a few moments in Chrono Phantasma, but Hakumen had already killed him there. As soon as he lost to Ragna he could no longer keep his spell working(he was using a spell to "observe" himself and personally keep his existence, after all he was erased by Hakumen) and he died by Hakumen's Time killer. "Omae wa mou shindeiru"
It's pretty good, the only thing I don't like about it is that all the newer characters in the series outplay the older ones. Not saying it's a terrible match up but there's more utilities for the newer characters. All in all I enjoy the game very much and will continue to be one of my favorite fighting game, even though I got into it for the story and I was not happy with the direction it has gone in throughout the series.
@@DracoX215 thank u I'm into more like Street Fighter Mortal Kombat 11 Injustice 2 I was hoping that you know that it was that kind of feel fighting game
@@nikyhouseman1576 It doesn't feel like those types of games at all. The combos are much longer and take time to get right. They have a buffer system to buffer inputs to help but it's not like those other games. I enjoy Street Fighter a lot, I would recommend Killer Instinct if you like those other games. It's free on the windows store for only a few characters if you want a new fighting game to out. Hope that helps.
@@DracoX215 thank you I appreciate that and I play Killer Instinct before but I have a PS4 so my video games are limited on what fighting games to play but I appreciate it
