I felt like that was a mistake. I think Jin was turning Orie's words of mercy into a roast for the enemy as if to say "I agree with you, these enemies are not worth killing"
I hope at least there will be some with the other Persona DLC characters. An interaction with Mitsuru would be more or less mandatory since they're both executioners with rapiers, and maybe someone could reference how her Thanatos spirit and blue hair makes her similar to the P3 protagonist.
According to a character Q and A (at least, that's what I heard), Orie and Hyde spend a lot of time together. She helps him study and cook at his house. Hyde actually helped her get used to Kanzakai. In Linne's Chronicle Story, she mentions noticing a blush on Hyde's face as he says goodbye to Orie.
Hyde is practically shippable with all the Under Night girls with the exception of Hilda if you've played the game since most of their routes involves him in some way.
Well, they are two of the main characters of the series. On top of that, the story did sort of hint that they kind of have a thing for each other. Hyde, most likely. Orie, not so sure considering that they only made one game and added more characters to them. Definitely holding out for a sequel to the story.
inb4 she doesn't because there are other obvious interactions that could have been, but flew right by Arcsys' heads anyway. I'm hoping for a Wave 2 DLC with Elizabeth. Surely by then, they'll address how both of them have a familiar named "Thanatos"...right?
Kirby Buster So is Orie. What is power without purpose? What use does it have if it isn't for a righteous cause? It ends up becoming a tool for violence. Just look at Carmine.
Their sense of right and wrong are both subjectively-correct philosophies. It's similar to Yu's power of the bonds: Even though Ragna doesn't "agree" with that view per se, he's still opt to fighting by Yu's side under his own terms. Ragna is a good man with a good heart. He's just rough around the edges and Orie is no outlier to that deeply-hidden kindness.
Well Ragna deals with so many self-righteous assholes that do nothing but talk about justice that i imagine anybody that as that word coming out of their mouths is on thin ice with him.
Esteban Maysonet Firstly, that’s assuming Nanase’s arcade is even remotely canon (which is completely up in the air). Secondly, that’s assuming Nanase’s arcade went through everything but her fight against Hilda.
Karnera Mythos Nanase was mad because she blames Hyde for her transformation into an In-Birth. However, she doesn't specify this specific part; which causes Linne, Orie and Vatista (if she even understands the situation) to think that he took her "innocence".
I will say, the best interactions Orie is shown with are with Hyde, Weiss, Linne, and Blake. She also has a good one with Mika given their being partners in the Licht Kries. Too bad that she doesn't have one with Mitsuru, given that like her and Weiss, Mitsuru fights with a rapier too.
Okay, note how Blake and Orie have no interactions with the Investigation Team, and Platinum only has interactions with Chie and Yosuke. Kanji will obviously rectify this, but I hope Yang has interactions with them as well.
Well to be fair, both of them are rapier users who are associated with a prestigious agency (academy and/or family), have (or had) some kind of relationship with armor-clad figures (Thanatos for Orie and the knight figure in Weiss' promo video), and both of them have a partner or family member that is a Token Evil Teammate to some extent. The partner/relative in question are Wagner and Whitley Schnee.
If you ignore in-story references, there's always the color alternate argument. Arcsys is known for giving each character quite a lot to choose from, so referencing some characters here and there is a good way to bridge the gap.
Not really. They’d have to think of something either awkward, nonsensical, or “no duh”. It’d be odd if you had their voices set to JP and there was nothing.
Okay I'm kind of new with the UNIEL series but did she say she's from the 'Elite Christ?' I mean, what do they give thanks Super Jesus on passover or something?
Well if you watched rwby she has to deal with constant racism and the fact that the organization she joined to deal with that is now a terrorist one. Also she was in an abusive relationship with the leader Adam. She also has LOADS of self hate.
Benjamin Miner really the rich girl whos father is the leader of a island deals with "constant" where's the constant part name more then 5 times they showed constant racism towards Blake. Wait she deals with racism against faunaus then why did she sit there while velvet was getting bullied didn't seem like she wanted to deal with it then?
One Punch Fish I believe so because she doesn’t want anyone to know that she is. The racism against faunus is very common and my guess is that people would she is one by coming to Velvet’s defense or just target her anyways because ya know they are bullies.
Sad their respective sanctions don’t get along. Hyde and Orie need to hang out more. Also, Hyde won’t get a good impression from Erika Wagner if he ever met her.
It's one thing to give Jin the _least_ amount of crossover interactions, and another to botch an opportunity with Weiss. It's another thing to ignore Makoto and Blake in gameplay, and another to overlook Ragna and Hazama. But Arcys... what gives, guys? _Zero_ interactions with the Investigation Team? _Are you freaking kidding us??_ She practically has a _Persona_ for crying out loud! How could you mess this up five times over!? Nothing with Yu, nothing with Yosuke, nothing with Chie, nothing with Yukiko, and nothing with Kanji. Not one character asking, "Hey, are you a Persona User too?" NOT. ONE. SINGLE. LAMPSHADE. Really fucking disappointing, ugh...
Karnera Mythos We still have the other DLC Persona characters to wait for. If she doesn't have a single interaction with at least one of the P3 cast (ESPECIALLY Mitsuru), THEN it's gonna be suspicious...
Andres Marrero not familiar with the under night rebirth series but I'm pretty sure every series has shit that's pretty bizzare to the point where the characters are probably numb to seeing weird stuff.
That's a bizarre justification given how these characters know (at least in gameplay) that they're foreign to each other's worlds. Yu lampshades Ruby's Semblance, Chie thought Hyde was going to summon a Persona allegedly named Insulator only to be caught off-guard that he's an outside-context problem, and Blake mistook Makoto for a Faunus in story mode. I'm privy to all series on some extent, so I knew a few things here and there, so the fact that neither Orie nor the Persona characters address their similarities is like Ruby completely and _totally_ ignoring Ragna and his sword, if they didn't have an interaction with each other already. It's so weird that there's not even a smidgen of dialogue with the two factions, and the worst part is that all the early copies of the game is the final version, so there is nothing missing. For whatever reason, they just chose to ignore certain and obvious interactions.
In another video there was a joke that Hyde has a thing for girls that have Orie's traits (Rapier, long hair, summon). So seeing this 3:00 makes that more funny 😆😆😆😆😆
I already thought Orie was a cool character apart from her and Carmine being the only characters I was competent with in UNIB, but I think I'm falling in love with her English VA now.
Hopefully Mitsuru or someone shuts him up, we have nine characters coming and Yang's unique interactions coming, someone, anyone, call him out. And Hakumen and Jubei, as well the Under Night characters.
oh great he has a 'live X alone' following... super No wonder everyone calls Hakumen the THOT slayer, he's Jin. Sorry I don't like Jin, of all the BB character, him and his first timeline self Hakumen, and Taokaka I don't like. Jin's whole reason to hate Noel because of Saya makes him look worse because it's not like Noel asked to be Saya or an form of her, Hakumen has been made this great character only be made a meme and a slayer of girls because everyone hates all the girls in tag battle. And Tao, I hate the nicknames, hate the fact people are bias to her yet hate Luna and most of female cast but want to basically fuck Tao.
DarylGreen OathkeeperRoxas99 Calm down man. Each character has their own ways. Justice is subjective. Which shows in CF. Jin is honestly what he is. Jin. He can't help being that way the reason why he's messed up in the first place was because of past trauma. They literally state that several times in the game. Ya know the whole manipulation of his mind to kill his brother? At the end of it. He honestly isn't thrilled with the fact he has to acknowledge noel as Saya but he gets used to it. Or that's what i see imo. And Tao is Tao. She's been weird since the beginning and doesn't care for too much. Come on even the smartest playable character in the game. Kokonoe relates to her because she knows how it is to be half beastkin.
[[Jayla ]] Tao is also friendly unless giving reason not to be. Gets a bit too personal but you can say that for a cat as well... Which she is. She's extra cat like in mannerisms.
Stroimex That's Hakumens job now. Jin is too busy looking for Ragna and abusing Noel emotionally. When big Daddy -Jin- Hakumen drops. All thots better step aside.
Minato Arisato Blake too, I think Arc sys hates the Persona franchise almost. I mean they already messed up the interactions the investigation team has together
