@@jeremiahperez3083Arcsys still released good/great fighting games, it’s just isn’t as godlike as BBCF. Saying otherwise is crazy to me. “The last good Arcsys game” is a wild take
@@onehitwonders7729 BBTAG? Horrible launch, horrible dlc practices, neutered characters with butchered movesets, some characters literally having useless moves that you'll never utilize, cross combo being a terrible mechanic, over simplistic controls that makes it essentially a two button fighter, and one button DP's (technically two button). Guilty Gear Strive? Completely lost its style and substance, forces you to play extremely linear where you don't really have a variety of options in neutral, just wild assault or block until its your turn, and while thats a gross generalization, my point is that there's no variety or versatility in how you can actually play, and its lost its aesthetic. DNF Duel is horrible as well, one button dp's, no true neutral because most of the characters have stupid range and so many moves are plus on block, so it becomes more of resource management with how you spend your meter, there's basically no defensive options beside guard cancel which too costly only to reset the essentially nonexistent neutral, which will probably result in someone ending up in the blender once more. Granblue Fantasy Versus is decent I guess, not much to say there i haven't really played it. But Arcsys has really fallen off and CF really was their last great fighting game. But maybe it is a wild take, I'm just dissatisfied with the direction Arcsys has taken is all
@@jeremiahperez3083 one BBTAG is a party game more than a fighting game. 2. While I agree GG strive is boring and lack versatility in how you want to play the game beside learning two combos route, it’s still a fun and good game. It’s did a lot with it RC system, and the way it’s handle pressure it’s actually pretty neat even after they butchered Gatling. Tbh I think beside the lack of combos outside of Counter hit, the game is going a great direction for the series unlike Xrd was a hell fest of doing too fucking much with everything. Strive is purely a hit or miss game, it’s not bad. And hating on it is getting too old guy. 3. What about DBFZ and UNI2? There are games with ALOT of substances and ways to play it’s game. 4. As a person who play Grandblue, it’s fun but not like addicting fun. Good game just need a little more push like strive had.
The sheer chaotic energy in Grand Finals alone would have been worth a highlight reel. Thank you so much for going the distance with the rest, I never would've seen all this otherwise.
