Aaron9 Michael Jordan needed Pippen. Jordan can't win without Pippen. Jordan without Pippen was 3 straight first round exits & 2 straight years of missing the playoffs. Without MJ, Pippen took his team to the semi-finals of the playoffs losing to Knicks in 7 games in 1994 & in 2000 led the Blazers to the third round of the playoffs losing to the Lakers in 7 games. MJ is a career loser without Pippen, Pippen won without Jordan. Put some respect on Pippen's name

Pippen was a bench player the yr Jordan made the 2nd round, Pippen wasn't a top 5 player on the Bulls nor a top 50 player in the league. Pippen took over a 3peat team with added new pieces, and got outplayed by Ewing in 94. The Blazers were in the WCF the yr before without Pippen. So with context, Pippen joined better teams than Jordan while having less impact on the teams success. 38 yr Jordan took over a 19 win Wizard team, they were in the Playoffs until Jordan tore his meniscus, and Jordan had the Wizards on a 50 win pace. Jordan didn't have the luxury to be a bench player his rookie yr, and his team win 50 games, Pippen did. Jordan didn't have the luxury of taking over 3peat team with added new pieces in his prime, nor did he have the luxury to join a team that made the Conf. Final without him, Pippen did.

@@anthonycelestin3559 pip was a bench player his first year with the bulls. in the 1989 ECSF vs the knicks pip got ejected in the 4 quarter of game 6. mj still gets the jobe done and puts up 12 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 2 in the 4 quarter alone. in 1994 the bulls added new pieces and played every game like it was a game 7 to prove they can do it without mj. they faced an injurd cavs team in the first round. in game 3 vs the knicks the refrees ejected the knicks PG for game 4 and game 5 which game the bulls an advantage. pippen was terrible that series and the bulls lost. thats it

I loved this team because they had my favorite player Scottie Pippen but they did underachieve, they should have won at least one championship especially that first year where they should have beat the Lakers.
