So Taylor had no responsibility in this situation? Was Brooke holding a gun to Taylor? What about Thorne? Let me guess, Thorne and Brooke were holding Taylor against her will and made sure she never told anyone. Ridge only choose Taylor the 1st time b/c he thought her having kissing another man the night before he engaged. That was why he proposed to Taylor with a ring he bought for Brooke/ and a wedding dress designed for Brooke. And after that all, all bets were off. If Taylor wanted Brooke hand me downs, Brooke had a right to go back for what was truly hers.

Brooke with all her dysfunction and Ridge will never compare to Taylor and Ridge. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful perfect couple than these two. Shame on Bell for breaking them up for trashy Brooke. Even modern day Ridge should be with Taylor, not Brooke. Taylor never head to guilt trip Ridge for love.

It's funny how "loyal" Sheila is to Brooke in this scene considering that she once wanted Stephanie and Taylor to help her devise a way to get rid of Brooke.
Hmmm...I really did like how Sheila was protective of Brooke back then. I say "HMM" because as I am watching this scene at around 05:30, you can hear Kimberlin say "KELLY" under her breath, and not "BROOKE." I thought it was kinda cute. Lol
I never saw these epis, but i like Sheila protecting Brooke here as well very much. They were always outsiders in the Forrester Club and always had to fight ahainst Stephanie. Thats why i am always on their side and also Team " Bridge"
Throne was the one that wrote Taylor off as completely dead and took advantage of Ridge during his grieving process over Taylor and told him this could be your last chance to marry Brooke knowing that Brooke's mother was their father mistress during the course of his marriage to their mother and he told Brooke to hide Ridge's land written love letter to Caroline so he can marry Caroline not Ridge! Taylor is too damn stubborn and she forgets she's the one who violated the marriage and she's always giving Ridge Brooke when he never asked her for Brooke.
I agree with all of you folks that Taylor was drop dead gorgeous, the epitome of true beauty, and that I always have and will be a huge fan of The Taylor and Ridge Love Story, thereby forming Tridge. My heart aches for Hunter Tylo's disasteric results from cosmetic surgery. I, too, wish she hadn't done it because she didn't need it. However, I mostly blame the person who gave her the cosmetic procedures because clearly that person is an extremely unskilled bogus Moran who's was out to make a fast buck. Any skillful, upstanding, established, renowned medical professional wouldn't be so unconscionable as to advise and consent to the totally unnecessary procedures. Hunter had an extraordinary body, with beautiful full breasts, and her mouth was so naturally beautiful as well as her facial features and bone structure. She was an absolutely breathtaking beautiful woman! I will love her forever!
Stephanie had Brooke placed in jail due to Old Stephanie and Taylor helped her and even gave them lolipops earlier and then later Bridget's paternity test came out that she didn't belong to Ridge. Now remember, Ridge was on the VERGE OF MARRYING BROOKE. So I do think that either Old Stephanie or Taylor manipualted the test results again. But they implied Sheila did it with no proof but only Old Stephanie's version of events.
I got CBS access thinking I'm about to watch bold and beautiful classic episodes and got disappointed. Who does that. And keeping the lid on them too. Can't find them anywhere and if you do find them they have a terrible voice over and they're not in English.
lol i liked that picture though. but they've used this picture of Brooke @ 3:51 since the beginning of the show until they stopped using the old opening sequence. why didn't THAT photo get retired?
Julian Small That photo should have been retired too. Lol. I always loved the one at 04:01 and the one with her wearing the white bra. I always hated the photo they showed of Sally when she first appeared in the opening credits, but loved the new ones that appeared later on.
Sheila was poisening her with mercury. She switched her medication with tablets that contained mercury, hence the psychotic episodes Stephanie was experiencing. Sheila wanted to get back at her for being so vile with Brooke
I used to watch Y&R and B&B faithfully when I was in my late teens and early 20's. Ridge Forrester {Ron Moss} was the stiffest, most unconvincing actor with the worst line delivery. He should have stayed in music ... singing and playing bass.
I agree with both of you. Ron Moss was the worse actor.. or so I thought. Then the new guy is has absolutely no chemistry with KKL (Brooke). How the hell you don't have any chemistry with KKL. Hell, I could have heat with KKL.
@@DougCeleste I know right? I can't stand the new Ridge honestly. He just sounds grumpy all the time. I actually didn't even know what this show was until about 1991 when I tried to watch it with my Grandma when I was about 9, along with Y&R, and while I found them both fascinating, I couldn't really make heads or tails of either/or, but just found it a fun thing to do with her during the day and didn't really start actually getting into watching either of them regularly until about 1995 or 1996.

Hunter Tylo (Taylor) in this episode was LOVELY to look at but so sad that she turned to Botox which ruined her gorgeous looks in later years. I liked Ronn Moss (the original Ridge) but comments in this thread about him are not too positive. The next Ridge has such a raspy voice and yes, always seems to be in a bad mood. This show premiered in the spring of 1987 and I began watching it in the fall of that year when I was 34. I watched it for years and then stopped watching it for years and then began watching it again about 10 years ago. Favorite original characters were Eric, Ridge, and Taylor. I NEVER got into soap operas until I began watching this one which I found quite entertaining. I video-taped episodes when I was at work and watched them at night. The shows were MUCH better years ago than today with MUCH better plots and actors than what we have today with many of them. (As you probably know, Ronn played bass for the group Player and they had a BIG hit in the 1970's with "Baby Come Back." RU-vid has a video of that group and song and you can see a young Ronn in the video.)
@@DougCeleste That's interesting, I'm familiar with that song, but had no idea he played base on it. I never got into soaps either until I was about anywhere from 9 to 11 years old, but remember that being Mom's thing in the afternoons to watch General Hospital, something I never understood for a long time, because I was only 3 when I noticed her watching it, I was supposed to be taking a nap during that time, and I couldn't for the life of me, understand why someone would want to watch something where someone was crying every other day at least.
Taylor and Grant use to date and mess around in college and she talked Grant into talking Ridge into getting back with her so he could get with Brooke. Taylor was always a plotter but they always was subtle with it.
@Aditha Lee You are so wrong. Maybe you should rewatch the B&B. Taylor and Grant never went to so the school or college. The person wen to the same school as Grant was Ridge. Storm and Taylor went to the same college, but they have never dated.
@@maryhafiku3912 Watch the scene when Taylor and Grant Chambers FIRST MEET EACH OTHER and they go into a room together and they discuss their days in college and how they dated each other and she told Grant not to tell Ridge they know each other. I know what I saw, I"m a viewer from the beginning 1987 when the show first came out. Storm was from High School. Grant Chambers from College and Dr. James Warwick was once a professor and colleague she knew in the University. But she didn't know him very well.
All of these romantic moments were when he ran off after getting into an argument with Brooke when they were either married or engaged or plotted against, or manipulated or lied and conspired against. The same as Liam and Steffy nearly every romantic moment with Steffy is due to a lie, manipulation or misunderstanding and he ran off with Steffy.
right? that's all both of them have ever done is waffle back and forth between both sets of women, because they either were manipulated in some form or fashion, were torn between loving both of them and never could make up their minds, or couldn't handle when conflict arose with one woman or another, so they ran to the other for comfort instead of working things out.
wow but you like a woman who sleeps with a father has his kids but loves the son. Then sleeps with the other son and half brother. Oh and let's not forget about both Son in laws. Who she has kids with. The sleeps with her daughter's first love while she should have been chaperoning the HS graduation party. Yeah great women to like.
