@@thedigitalartrealm i dont think so tbh. the og big 3 was on another level compared to whats out now. They were more captivating and refreshing in art, powers, and long running epic narratives, which is vital. Imo none of this gen fill those slots from a reader standpoint. I personally dont think jjk's mc, mha's mc, and Bc's mc can carry Jump like the og big 3 mc's did. And all these short running hits wont do the trick either. They are looking for the next mega hitter still one that will be as unique and powerful as Dragon ball franchise.

@@jaymeshanson Instead of another Golden Trio maybe we will have a Silver Trio, 3 mangas not as long lasting/impact like their predecessors, but were able to reach immense popularity in both local and western markets like My Hero Academia. Since right now Shonen Jump still has One Piece and essentially has kept the Golden Trio impact alive in the community. But once One Piece ends maybe a new Golden Trio will emerge and impact a new generation. It will also be interesting if MHA ends up being passed the torch/becomes the successor to One Piece or if after One Piece conclusion a new manga succeeds it just like during the late 90s with DBZ.

Yeah the seasonal anime structure isn't helpful to mass popularity. I think shows like Attack on Titan would be remembered in the same vain as Fullmetal Alchemist, something that was good while it lasted for most people. Not as a way of life like the big three.

It doesn’t need to be like them and it obviously never will. The term is subjective so there can be a new gen big 3

Exactly thanks. Its my fav out of the big 3.And if you really understand the core of the story, its very realistic.

out of the big 3 Bleach really did the best job with female characters. yeah alot of them where hot with big milkers and all but beyond that they had REALLY well written personalities!!! Reading bleach then reading Naruto or OP back to back make's it really apparent the females in Naruto and OP are really really flat feeling as far as personality... some female characters in Naruto are written so poorly they might as well not even exist. Yeah Rangiku is hot as hell, yes her chest is spilling out of her robe in every panel she's in, but she's also really well written and made me tier up twice.... that entire Bathroom scene with Rangiku and Orihime was not only sexy and fan service but was AMAZING character development for both SIDE CHARACTERS! moment's like THAT are what make bleach different, and you can hold me to that.

I'm of the same opinion as you, Bleach is a pretty good series but overall I feel One Piece keeps me coming back for more. Obviously as a fan you are going to value Oda's writing particularly the world building, I just don't want that admiration to turn into overly simplifying other series to make your favorite series seem more "pristine" in comparison.

That wasn't the case for me. I started Naruto in 2014, Bleach in 2019 and one piece in 2020. I finished Naruto and Bleach but I'm not caught up on one piece yet.
