Unless of course the anima adaptation is gonna add new stuff and extend the fight, letting our heroes defeat Gerard without Yhwach doing it for them.

Also, SPOILER: That's exactly what happens in the next part, even after he unlocks the matured version of his bankai. @cmack1889 you might be right, but I thought Kyoraku and Urahara release their bankai in about same time. Maybe Urahara's a bit later, it could be, the manga was terribly rushed and everything kind of blends in together.🤷‍♂️ To be honest, I don't even remember if Kisuke wins that battle...

@@TheYoungMindz now when I look again, I think they are just repeating whatever Bankai has been shown on Cour 1 and 2, so Mayuri's Bankai was not shown (Ichigo's was not shown either as he didn't really show us his Bankai release, he just straight away released it off screen while Quilge was distracted)
