Remember you can do multiple applications of bleach solution and it also helps to dab dry the area with paper towels so the bleach doesn't soak behind and under the paper

USE A FINE MIST SPRAY BOTTLE 1/2 bleach 1/2 water little a time wash in water asap when done - Also dip t/shirts in spray paint water tank -tie dye and 🛒🤷‍♂️

The Daniella Network Seriously? How do you except to bleach a white t shirt... you can do it to other colours that are darker than white such as blue or green.

Can the technique be used on Denims also ? Btw I loved this video. How about we cut a stencil on any other hard material like plastic ad apply the same technique. Do you think that would work ?

It works on denim too and you can basically use any material as a stencil as long as it lays flat👍 good luck!

How is the colours of the shirts changing? Before spray you showing somewhat blue colour T shirt but at the time of removing that article same T Shirt has been turned all Black. Hows that possible?

All shirts that I used in this video were black. If one appears in some way blue, it was simply the lighting of the video since I had to film both inside and outside for certain parts.

Any Aussies found a substitute for freezer paper? I’m not sure my freezer paper has a coating so it wouldn’t stick when Ironed?

can I use any type of bleach?, is freezer paper the same as wax paper?

As long as it's bleach, any brand should work. And yes, freezer paper will work. Freezer paper has a wax coating on one side, while wax paper has a wax coating on both sides. When using the freezer paper, make sure you put the waxy side down on your shirt. It works as a temporary adhesive to keep the stencil in place.

Are these sellable though given they are licensed Disney characters? I want to make these but even Cricut warns about only making for personal use.

I'm honestly not sure. I've heard the same thing, but then I've seen people selling them. I probably wouldn't, though, because Disney tends to really crack down.

I used freezer paper, and when you iron it onto the shirt, it sticks enough for you to spray the design. Then it peels right off very easily! :)

I'm team Cricut - can I cut a stencil from Oracal 651 and use that instead of the wax paper?

I've honestly been wondering this myself, or whether I can just use the Cricut to cut the wax paper for me. I'm not sure, though, since I haven't tried it yet. It's definitely something to at least try, though! :)

Did this work on some sort of plastic type of thingy.....I mean ....I want to make my black bag look better.... It's not made up of cloth,it's some type of plastic or something.so someone please tell me does this bleach work on something like that?

After letting it completely dry, wash it by itself in the washing machine. Then afterwards, you should be able to wash it normally with other clothes.

It's not the same as baking paper. One side has some waxy layer.

You could try on white, but I don't know how well you'll see it, if at all. And it would depend on how light the yellow is. I've used this technique on a soft, baby blue color and it worked well.

may i ask? how about sticker paper. i printed out some designs on sticker paper as my freezer paper.,, coz i dont have that. Im just trying if it will work. 😃 then .. do i have to wash the cloth first before spraying a bleach? Or after. thank you for your answer. 😘

Honestly, I've been wanting to try sticker paper. At the moment, I'm not sure if it'll work, but it might be possible if you don't saturate it because then it won't stick as well. You could always test it on a small spare piece of cloth. You don't need to wash it beforehand, but let it sit and dry for a day after you've sprayed the bleach, then wash and dry it by itself.

@@chresnares8972 Honestly? There are various ways to do it, but I've never had to use vinegar and the shirts I've made are still goin' strong. I've read that you should run it under cold water immediately after to stop the bleach from continuing to bleach the shirt, but again, I've never done it, lol. So it's all preference and trial and error. I just let mine dry after bleaching, then I ran it through the washer and dryer on its own. If you're concerned, I'd try dunking/rinsing it in cold water immediately after bleaching.

Only a few hours, but I usually let it sit for half a day, if not a full day, just to be safe before washing.

This was just one technique that's easy and affordable to do. The freezer paper also withstands the bleach and doesn't completely soak it up like a stencil with regular paper might do.

It was just a generic brand of bleach that I had on hand. You need to mix equal parts water and bleach. As far as adding color, I honestly have no idea since you're using bleach which removes color. You can always try it on scrap fabric! :)

It's bleach, so it will stay. Just make sure to wash the shirt by itself for the first time to get all of the bleach residue off. Then you should be able to wash it normally with other clothes.
