It's cute 😍 I think purple is definitely a color that's hard to get the way you want it. What I find is making it challenging is that the undertone is a thing, whether it is blue or pink-- and that changes the way it looks. It also changes how the color changes as it washes out. Your skin tone also has a huge part in how it looks, whether your warm tone, cool tone, or neutral tone. So many things. I tried for the longest and couldn't swing it for the life of me. Lol. So now I live vicariously through others.
