That’s the color I was thinking of!! My son wants me to go BRIGHT MAGENTA for his birthday 😂 so I’m just chilling with the blonde for now. Of course I was thinking pastel for spring and he chose the brightest color I have 😂😂😂 ❤

As someone who has literally no professional hair experience and is just googling things to get by, it was SO validating to hear Aislinn do a mini rant about how tough it is to bleach your own hair and not get extremely careless extremely quickly. I try my best, but it also takes so much energy out of me that I've thrown up after spending a couple hours bleaching my hair, literally felt like I had food poisoning. Bleaching (or any type of dyeing as well) is seriously a whole different ballgame when you're doing your own hair.

I just wanna pop in and say I just got my Palette over the weekend and I have used it every day since and i LOOOOOOOVVVEEEE it. It's my favorite palette because the shades are so true to pan. Every shade is smooth and applies and looks the way i expect it to look! It just happens so often with other palettes that the shade in the pan isn't what shows up on the eye, but THIS palette came through! Thank you! I love it!!!

Try Matrix tonal control. It's acidic, and it'll help seal your hair (they have it at cosmoprof). I, too, had a hair disaster, and it helped my damage and toned me well...

Okay I get it I too am a Virgo so I get the whole hair thing and the band bothering you I just went through the whole thing myself. But? Why don't you just dye your hair dark close to your natural color that way it'll all just be as uniform as possible?

I think you should dye it in a cascading sunset pattern with magenta, pink, coral, orange and yellow at the end...all color-melted together. You would not notice if your starting hair color was a little uneven...

After bleach for 6 years solid my scalp is saying no and I did a home cut just after your video and watching your journey has been like therapy for me going through similar with mine. The intrusive thoughts ‘shall I bleach it or leave it’ are outrageous and I feel like only a certain type of person can relate to this. 😂 unfortunately I had to give mine a rest so I’m now dark . But looking forward to growing my out our hair together. And you look so beautiful with no makeup on!!!

Question? Plz I trying to figure out what brand is best I'm wanting to do a merlot or burgundy more purple/pink leaning, but I wanna do a semi permanent color. I've been doing Keracolor in merlot and purple for brunette with rose gold for brunette sometimes but since that is a color depositing conditioner it has to be done so often. Plus just a mocha color on top would you recommend manic panic, or a different brand. I have to be careful not to crazy as I work at a color at a company that only allows 'natural' colors so pushing merlot to a pinker or purpler leaning color. So I'm wanting a semi permanent that won't bleed out if I sweat on my pillow the keracolor doesn't bleed badly but some. Lol

Ok, crazy suggestion: do an undercut in the back. I am have occasionally had jobs where I had to have “normal” hair, so I did an undercut in the back that I could bleach and color whatever I wanted and you couldn’t see it. I’m still wearing the undercut even tho I can do whatever I want with my hair now. It also cuts down on the damaged ends while I still have a little length.

Oh, I’m so glad it came out ok. I had some of my own hair disasters when I was bleaching my hair. It got to a point where I was scared to tone it so I was mixing some purple manic panic into conditioner to tone out some of the yellow. I think I did that a few times to try and not put any developer in my hair for a bit. I was terribly picky when my hair didn’t look the way I wanted it.

I think you needed to hit it with the 30 vol, it’s still too yellow to tone to the same color as the front and your roots . I think maybe one more round bleach will do it with maybe a 20 or 25 vol
