Bleaching my hair *purple to blonde* 

Chantelle Elise color oops is terrible for your hair! Get something more high end. It will have less chemicals. Ion has a really good one and it’s more natural so it’s not over damaging.

Chantelle Elise if you know anyone with a hair license I strongly suggest getting CPR by Malibu. You just mix it with warm water and you can do it up to 3 times. It really works. Another good one is the color eraser by matrix which is also mixed with warm water. It’s a lot less damaging than bleach and it’ll pull old color out of your hair.

Chantelle Elise if you use color oops or anything like that it will make it harder to get out with bleach. It will push the color further into the hair strand to hide it. Then when you put bleach over it it strips it or pulls it back to the surface making it show up again

Taylor Burkman CPR by Malibu won’t do that. It doesn’t mix with developer.

@@ChantelleElise02 girl I wish. I really feel like it's washing me out, plus the lady at Sallys told me to tone it with the color honey blonde from Wella (smfh... I should've known when I poured it into the bowl and it was literally the color of red Kool-Aid )which I'm not even sure was a toner. It looks just like one, but another worker said it could also be an actual permanent hair dye color which I'm pretty pissed about LOL because that's what added BACK this ugly orangish yellow honey blonde tint to my hair that I'm desperately now trying to get rid of after bleaching it four times and practically destroying it LOL. There's ends of my hair that I can literally pull and they snap off SMH but like I said I don't know if I was telling you , now I have those two boxes of loreal excellence creme whitest ash blonde I think it's called hair dye or something I just want to leave in for like 15 minutes to raise myself one or two more levels to get rid of the orange and then tone it but I don't know if I should tone it with t18, T14 or both of them mixed together ? Maybe mix them but use only a small amnt of the t14 or tone it with t18 and then use T14 to do highlights. Because t18 cancels out orange which I have a lot more of so Im thinking I should stick with the t18 but T14 cancels out yellow which I also have ..so I'm not sure exactly how to tone my hair after I dye it .. I wish I had help or could talk to someone who knew lol would you have a suggestion ??

although i’m not a professional, i have been doing my own hair for years so i knew what i was doing. i had the bleach at home and wanted to get rid of the purple asap. but it’s just hair it’s not that serious:)

She could of also done a bleach bath if she wanted to as it's less damaging to the hair and gets rid of colour build up and they work better for people who use Semi colours like myself as colour removers don't work they only do for permanent colours. As permanent colours go further into the hair strand than semi colours. (I'm currently studying hairdressing)

The purple was likely a semi permanent dye. Color removers are really only efficient on permanent and demi permanent dyes.

To be fair, if it was a semi permanent dye (like Joico colour intensity/arctic fox) the colour remover for that kind of dye is actually a lot worse for your hair than regular bleach. It's basically bleach on steroids😂. I've used Joico colour intensity remover and I won't use is again! Permanent colour removers don't work well with semi-permanent dyes either.
