Watch me bleach my relaxed hair at home. Luckily it didn't all fall out. *THIS QUALITY IS SO TRASH IM SO SORRY IT’LL BE BETTER NEXT TIME PROMISE* INSTAGRAM: / alyssamirrore #bleach #relaxedhair
Cute color! . I would have used a lower volume developer & lightened over a period of time instead of black to straight platinum (less damage). Also when bleaching it’s also best to save the edges for last & for a hot minute so they don’t become over processed since they process very fast. Foil also helps to maintain the temperature for consistent processing & helps you know which sections are processing well.
😳 girl.... It's just hair u'll b fine 😊 just do more research next time it is possible to have both in a health way too. I've done it. But it takes a lot of care
Maybe there’s some genetics into play??🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ maybe even just being really cautious and following guidelines on the boxes idk; because there are members of my family who do this (me included) and our hair is okay. We do the usual maintenance and look after our hair and we’re fine. I think what also helps is that my hair mostly gets relaxed when I get my pixie cut and that’s like in 2 months (2.5 max) intervals, otherwise I just get my split ends trimmed; plus my hair is naturally a lighter brown (so less volume is used ) and I don’t aim for platinum, just light enough to put colour in my hair (I did orange once and that was fun 🤣🤣) Plus I don’t overlap with touch ups I’m not a professional and all I understand is that you strip your hair of it’s natural oils and protein and open flaps on the strands (that already pushes me to be extra cautious) Side note: I did not know hair could go into shock, another new thing I just learned So I try to help my hair and treat it and it must work to some degree because my hair doesn’t fall out or feel/look like some dusty crusty carpet like some of those hair fail videos. Because we’ve gotten our hair done at salons, we heed their advice so that when we started doing it at home; it wasn’t a whole disaster. Again, I’m not a professional, but based on my own experience I think if you really try your best to avoid as much damage as possible and look after your hair it should be fine. Then again this isn’t a ticket to go crazy and process your hair every other time, it needs a break too 🤣🤣so also remember moderation. So keep in mind some hair lifestyles aren’t for you.
I mean I did it and my hair was fine.... everything is different for everybody! .... This is a "make sure you know your hair" situation. Because most people will say "keep you r hair braided it'll grow".... When all that did was make my hair break off🙄🤣....so once again.... everybody hair is different 🤷
Never relax and bleach it will most likely take your hair out . I wouldn’t recommend any color with lift your hair is already compromised from relaxer . Not to mention your hair looks very unhealthy and the ends are severely broken off to begin with . I did the same thing before going natural lmao that’s actually what started my journey. I high recommend a big chop at this point it cannot he saved . It will grow and be back in no time ❤ Also if you do color your hair you should be using Olaplex and protein treatments
It’s possible to bleach relaxer hair after waiting at least a month after your relaxer. Make sure your hair is healthy & you don’t over process because it does damage but the reverse relaxing bleached hair is a nooo
@@FindingLys lmao oh gee. I bleached my hair almost white once, and no matter how many oils and moisturizer I put in my hair it was still dry af 🙄 I just went bald headed after lol
OMG why did all of that hair come out? Too much hair loss at once. IDK about this one, you should of went to a professional. Your hair looks very thin.
Please do not bleach it again. At this point your hair is damaged. I don't mean to hurt your feelings but if you were my relative I would tell you. Not looking good at all!
@@selekachazha5598 it actually really depends on your hair!! I relax my hair once a year (it's never bone straight..my hair is naturally curly and the relaxer just help me tame it better) I've bleached my relaxed hair and it never fell out, texture never changed. But I Know how far to go with my hair! ...my hair is very healthy
