Secret boss after timed trials around 15:00 Secret ending at the end of the video. I heard in the discord that it was World first secret ending but I haven't confirmed with devs or anything.
The small 3 man dev team has put out more update/patches & hotfixes in 2 weeks since release than a 500 person dev team. They are really listening and trying their best to improve the game. They have fixed a ton of stuff and controllers work much better now.
Bleak faith is my new obsession I've logged 200hrs now and continue to play it regularly the world's just so unique and the armor sets and weapons badass its like when I played bloodborne for the first time.....SEND HELP!!!
The secret boss is lame but the berserk and references are great. Skull knight makin portals with his sword, him saving you at the end from those beasts like he saved guts from the eclipse ;)
Cause people's expectations was something virtually unachievable, and then adding onto the fact that this is a 3 man team working on this ? Yeah they were bound to be dissapointed. They expected the next Elden ring or something. All things considered this looks pretty sick. Could it be improved ? for sure, but that doesnt mean its worthless far from it...
I got couple of problems: 1. Unrewarding exploration. Some levels are huge with a lot of places to go but completely empty. There are plenty of off-routes which hint secret areas but those are just dead ends with no ability to come back. 2. It seems they have taken some things (story and world building) from other SF souls-likes : Immortal: Unchained and Hellpoint. Seems only reason this game is more succesful than Hellpoint is because of the souls animation (bought assets). Hellpoint is made by 9 ppl dev team. 3. Bugged AI. I took a perk Illusionist at the start and 90% of the time the clone just stands there doing nothing or humps the enemy. 4. Misleading describtions. No way in hell the clone has 60% of my stats, it does 100 dmg while I do 2000. Most perks do not do what they descrribe or they describe it wrong. Makes inability to reset them even more painful. 5. Inabiility to access inventory when enemies are nearby (seriously?) 6. NPC dialogue seems like placeholder.
So this is the secret boss....it is exactly the same as the regular knight with the greatsword. It has even the same move set which is disappointing. Love the reference at the the end with the skull knight.
PIck Skullknight column instead of the terminal, run around before suffocating to next swirly globe in each plane, defeat the clone of yourself. Sadly I suffocated.
*Meet Skull Knight at the bottom of the dark chasm below Machinarium (technically missable, since both the chasm and the area after it are optional) * *After reaching the center of the anomaly and watching the cutscene you will get a second cutscene where Skull Knight leaves behind the black pillar* *Interact with that pillar instead of the terminal, and successfully complete the gauntlet and kill the boss at the end* *If you fail by falling to your death or dyiing to the boss the secret ending is now unobtainable without starting a new game or restoring a backup of your save made BEFORE reaching the center of the anomaly.*
Its bad how the story was handled You can exhaust npc dialogues once and done they dont move they dont get extra lines The world structure and the aesetics of the game were awsome and its great that it gets so many changes daily i hope this gets fixed one day too(not to mention the mute cutscenes)
Also pre melee nerfs, they absolutely dumpstered melee builds.The only reason I got through with a melee build is because Titan Slayer's heavy attack is cheesy and Yulia's AI bugged out which let me 1v1 her knight. I had to skip Belisarius entirely by going around his arena, my build could literally not do his fight.
@@biggus3461 Its still janky. The endings have not changed, it still feels super buggy. I just finished the game and couldnt get the secret ending cause I literally fell through the ground and died during the final section. Its a good soulslike with awesome atmosphere, but it simply has too many bugs even after the latest patch.
@@AubreyOnfroy No it's not. I wouldn't say they stole Skull Knight from Berserk, because the devs put in some effort to make him look and act differently. Just like the Erdtree is inspired by Ganishka, not an exact model. But these guys just straight up stole the Lance model directly from the manga/anime, along with a ton of other stuff, then lied very poorly about it.
@@OrphanMartian So it would be cool if they just slightly tweaked it? Sounds like semantics. Never seen fans complain about games directly referencing other media before. Don't people usually like easter eggs ? I didn't read evangelion but there's an armor in the game that looks exactly like something from the Abara manga, which I like and I can't follow your train of thought here, cause as a fan having that armor in the game is just exciting to see. What did they allegedly lie about ?
It’s supposed to be 40-60 hours of gameplay. But I believe I remember reading that some parts of the game will be added as free (not confirmed yet) content later on.
@@rajahava Plus ladders and insanely long bridges. Also Ghost Town has an entirely unfinished area, even after all this time. Its literally a massive space with nothing in it.
