Bleak Faith: Forsaken - Gameplay Updates 

I keep going back to all these footage and still not believe how wonderful this is! Seriously, it is breathtaking how much you guys did with so few people on the team and so few resources. Take all the time you need to complete and polish this game and of course, don't overwhelm yourselves.

huge improvement from the last update, im loving the direction this game is taking now even more than before; probably only criticism is the visual of the "ice(i assume its ice?) spells", it looks a bit jarring. but overall, man this is looking so cool 😍

Looks good! One thing I would recommend is adjusting the monster animation a bit. The motion is a bit too even - for example, on the spinning tail attack, the turnaround and tail swipe seems too slow and steady. I think it would work better if there was a distinct windup/telegraph portion, then a quick transition into a faster spin. It would look snappier, feel more natural, and probably would communicate the dodge timing a little more clearly. This is a promising project, and I hope it reaches its great potential!

This is coming along amazingly! I've been hyped since C4G first showed it on his channel. One thing I didn't like was the warning signal for those attacks, need to have faith that the player will learn from their experiences. Other than that it's right behind Elden Ring for my anticipated games. You should be extremely proud with what you're doing 👍🤙❤

Very cool! I feel like there should be some kind of screen effect or something that tells you when you've been hit, since sometimes the hit animation can be hard to see, or can be occluded by terrain

A couple of months ago i saw a comment saying that they must put some feedback when you hit the enemies because it didn't. Now you can see that whenever yo hit this boss you can see that he reacts to the attack, that's cool.

Blows definetly feel more impactful now, the neccesary oomph is there. Some more work is needed for spell animations and effects, but i have no doubt that in next showcase that will already be much better. Loving the progress you are making!

Very excited for this game to release, been seeing some major improvements and hope for the best.There's a few things that concern me that would be nice to see some changes or more details, such as the camera; it seems to track the player on a weird angle where the whole character model isn't visible at times or might even get easily clipped through objects. The only other major thing worrying me is how some textures don't seem to be fully rendered/processed, this could just be a design choice as well in which case is fine. I have high hopes for this game and really hope It's amazing on release. There's been way to many games recently where it just feels rushed when it could of been a revolutionary game, and I just hope this game doesn't give me cyberpunk 2077 flashbacks. I would gladly wait an extra 6 months or so if it means that this game is 100% how the creators want it, as there seems to be brilliant ideas. Very excited to play this when it comes.

I like the mechanics, you seem to empower the player in different ways than in other souls-likes and the art style you focused on emits this bleak atmosphere indeed, not to mention the looks of the skeletal boss... overall, well done and I can't wait for launch!

I definitely see a difference, keep it up. This game has crazy potential if it's polished in the right ways. Not only do you guys have direction, but you take advice and don't disappoint. Make sure the way enemies are presented are both artistic, and replayable. I would prefer with some sort of option for random elements even if it's unlockable after the fact that would be dope. There's just so much you guys can do with this lol I try not to seem like I'm criticizing with my comments, this game is important in my opinion

Now that is what I love this souls-like game so much, I like it both medieval and technology, exploring ruined cities and building your armor and weapons whether we wanted medieval knight style with sword and bow or cyborg soldier with guns in our roleplaying that's what I really love this game all about.

Im happy to see that the dragon's animations have been cleaned up a bit, its' a lot less janky than wha we have seen before. Good going!

Please don't rush it and take all the time you need huge improvement from the last update, if executed well it may gain a lot more traction and possibly be highly supported in the near future I'm not a game design expert, animator or developer but the games concepts and visual look really good and something I would definitely play.

This and the Elden Ring brings hope to gaming again 🍻

Everything looks really good, I especially like the way the player character recoils back after blocking a hit. It reminds me a lot of how in Dark Souls 1 if you blocked a really big hit your character would be launched backwards and do a little mid air flip. And I always really liked that animation

I follow this game since day one when it was announced and presented. To me it feels like the perfect mix from Dark Souls and the artist Zdzisław Beksiński. I just can't wait. The demo was already too much fun.

There is still a lack of feedback when a hit is being landed, some weight in the animations would do well.
