Just found this on Kickstarter and damn...this looks absolutely amazing, from concept art to music and gameplay - very promising and unique I love it, wish you hella luck, I need this game ♡
It's a partial quote of a section from Heart of Darkness, though the latter half is in fact reworked to fit the theme of the game. I agree, it's really interesting. I keep coming back to it every few weeks.
Really dig the visual direction and the overall feel this game has. The gameplay is of course similar to Dark Souls but the aesthetics remind me of Blame manga.
"Faith becomes strength." The amplified glitched voice sent shivers down my spine. The narrator is imbued and suffering coupled with the gritty cyberpunk / medieval setting it's a great tone for the teaser without revealing anything. More games and even movies need to take note on how to set a tone through simplicity rather than out stating them. Amazing teaser.

Love how this trailer promotes Faith as strength, which is so very true for me. Not much of that these days. Most believe in nothing lately. It's kind of disheartening. I cannot wait for this game to come out.

In order for this game to become one of the greats it literally has to be as in depth as dark souls 3 with itemization and have an awesome story like shadow of the colossus. I hope hope hope this game is amazing!
Did you guys use Batushka music in the gameplay video? I already love Heilung and Lorn, whose music you used, And if you use Batushka now, then I might have finally found folks with the exact same music taste as me lmao
Seeiously incredible. But please invest on actual good voice actor rather than your friend voice recorded at someone's basement? Along with confusing accent , which doesn't do it justice nor professional. Same goes also for the boss ( that samurai viking boss) demo that was showed earlier. Should probably hire a professional voice actor. I'd offer it but I work as a law enforcement officer. I've voiced in over 20+ video games to date though.
@@ShadowsFateOfficial Well let's be honest and fair. The acting in that trailer wasn't bad at all. I know we've all heard far worse from AAA games that have more than two or so people working on it.
It's dry and unemotional, I've voiced in over 30+ video games Aaron. I appreciate a great actor, but this was an attempt to sound similar to LOTR or something that stood out. It sounds dry in the end result because the actor sounds like they are either trying to hard or not caring enough.

Es Fett The narrator(presumably the main character) is meant to sound disinterested and bored. He says the death is the most unexciting contest implying that he has died multiple times and is simply apathetic to the idea of death
