I was always using displacement mapping...and it never quite looked right. This method using liquify takes a little practice but results are amazing. Thanks!
This guy is very very good. Keeps it simple and doesn't talk over your head. He clearly explains as he is showing you the tools. Its like having a private tutor.....
Man, you are an outstanding teacher. So knowledgeable, so thorough & you explain everything articulately & beautifully. Thank you for these. Can't wait to try this out!😀❤
love the work, better than a lot of people on here but I notice everyone does this exact tutorial which is fine but most of us probably need to see this done with a logo and not text. If you can do one for that that would be fantastic.
I rarely comment on youtube videos, but man..your tutorials are great and so easy to understand! You explained everything very well from basics to advance. Thank you! I will keep watching more of your videos!
Dig all your tutorials but this one. Displace method is waaaaaay easier and fully automatic. Have to be a fabric consultant to guess where it's supposed to curve or fold.
Learning this technique sure was a game changer! I always thank the Lord for giving people like you to share their gifts to others. I thank you too. May you learn more to share more. God bless!
How the heck do you know all this????? Seriously, are you a human? Be honest!... At any rate, you are the absolute best at this RU-vid/ Photoshop thing. There isn't even a close 2nd. Way to go.
@PiXimperfect Hi Unmesh, I just wanted to say thank you for all your achievements teaching Photoshop. You are the best instructor out there by far. Unfortunately for me , circumstances have meant massive cutbacks and I can no longer afford to pay out each month for Adobe, so I have switched to Affinity. I think it's a great product at amazing value. The biggest loss is not having you there. Such is the way things are. Best wishes
I would love to see a video on how to create text/runes that are chiseled into stone, such as a stone floor ... with an optional glow, like fire/embers in the letters and symbols.
you can make the the flag smart object and save it as psd then click the text then go to filter distort-displace- then choose the psd you saved and wala....it can make what you did
how do i make different passport size photos using the same paper. and how do i do canvas and paper rotation in ps2019, also how do i manage my work spaces in different locations. how do easily change back ground of photos with out using solid colors. if you have videos its better you recommend through links.
When I select Smart Object of Your Text Layer... then in Filter Menu.... Liquify option is disabled... its not enabled...... how to do that ? (Photoshop CS6)
@PiXimperfect For this kind of warp job (the wrapping!), I would use Displacement also with a greyscale version of the fabric as displacement map (as you did for the texture). For most of the cases, it produces a decent result and is muuuuuch quicker. Have you tried already?
Sorry I followed each step and after placing text and creating to smart object liquify is grey and not selectable. Only if I don't make it smart can I use liquify. Why? after that it doesn't work
