Hello, I wonder if you might have an answer to my question. I recently tried to texture a full realistic character in Blender. 4k textures with 14 UDIMS. I found that it worked well when I first started, but the more detail and map I added, it became completely unusable due to lag. I ended up having to switch to Substance Painter to be able to work without this issue. I wonder if you run into the same problem and maybe know some ways around it? Another problem that I found was that painting Height information causes stair stepping artifacts, even with large 32bit textures. I don't see this in Substance Painter at all and don't know what could be causing it.

Lol, how did you get to undo painting in weight painting mode? It keeps switching back to edit mode.

Why not bake the high poly mesh for the color map and draw on top of that for the flowers instead of remaking it from scratch?
