In this video Sebastian König gives an overview of some of the upcoming changes in Blender's Clip Editor, which is being migrated to use the new tool system, which the rest of the Blender UI has been using for years already. It's still work in progress, many things will change (icons, tools, menus, ect), but you should get an idea of the direction it is going.
Sorry for the audio, turned out a bit quiet..

What you see in the video will probably be in Blender 3.3, the stuff that is mentioned on code.blender.org maybe a bit later.

I do realize it, it is even mentioned in the description. But as long as RU-vid doesn't allow to swap the audio there is little I can do, other than suggest you turn up the volume.

While it is certainly not the loudest audio in the world, turning up the volume of your device should work wonders ;)
