How do you get a calm ocean? I tried everything but i always end up with big swells and when I size the ocean up it acts calmer but I lose all the details

He not use ocean modifier just plane with bump mapping/ displacment

Hi Does anyone know why my speedboat doesn't generate a ripple effect? I'm sure I done everything. I tried to move the cube closer to the boat in edit mode or object mode and nothing happens, apart from the boat looks like it sinking a bit.

You should add the subdivision. Or if you're did the subdivision, do more, but not too much or your PC or laptop can't handle it... :) 👍👍👍

how do you make it work on a surface with OCEAN modifier ? As soon as I apply OCEAN, all dynamic paint effects disappear.

Look at the lighting, I turned off scene lighting or subdivide more if its ripples you can't see?
