Blender Grease Pencil Tutorial | INTERPOLATION | Blender 2.92 

Yeah definitely👌 I was so amazed by how the interpolation make the animation process so much easier. Like you said even with over details character it's gold🥳. It also makes your animation more smoother if needed. I believe that you could even do some slow motion like Matrix movies. If I find more helpful tips and tricks I will definitely share it here 🙂👍. Cheers so much 🙏😊 greasepencil definitely change my life as animator. All these tips I found and I learned are big shortcuts I process 🤩. I used to be an Adobe Flash user back in a days when I discovered digital animation. That move to digital was hard for me because I was convinced that real animation should be done traditional 😅 (I don't know why I thought that, maybe because I was stupid a bit 😆). I haven't really read all the Richard Williams book but it was a chance for me to have a look at my friend house. YOU WERE A SCANNER OPERATOR 😲!!! Dannnggg that so cool!!! Yes of course the work system were challenging but so legendary that you had that chance to try 😃. Bahaha nowadays software are magic. So magic that you could do movie by yourself 🤣👍

@@tuat555 I have a picture of me somewhere operating a Hell 300A scanner in Seattle '83. It used contact screens mounted over the film as it predated the "dot-generating" laser "B"model. It was the size of a coffin, loud and had no shadow detail. The ones that came later improved greatly and for about 20 years I had a great job. I was also a dot-etcher. It took a hour to accomplish what I could do in Pshop in about 5 seconds.

Thank you so much! 🙏😊 Actually I did the interpolation work before the coloring, so only the line art first. For the interpolation color it's a bit complicated, you can try it but I would not recommend it. From my own experience it doesn't really work 100% everytime and sometimes it gave more extra work to fix some mistakes. But it's a great idea👍 and I know it's possible to make it work 😉

Hi 👋🙂! Good questions, thank you! For what I learn so far, I can set myself to the average. I think I master a bit of everything in greasepencil. There's still some options and tools that I haven't used. But I tend to explore more of them step by step. For crashing, I did experiment some unfortunate issue when I was using the scissors tool in greasepencil pencil. It completely shutdown the software for some reason. But thankfully I always make a backup of my work. About the rate, I would give Blender a 3 on a scale to 5. Why? 1)Because even if there a lot of cool tools, Blender is a mix of 3D and 2D with a different style of navigation. For a newbies it could be really challenging. 2) There's a lot of menu and options that could confuse you and it's really hard sometimes to get out of some situation. 3) Greasepencil is really particular comparing to 2D software like TV Paint. Because greasepencil is built with vertex points in a 3D space. 4) Greasepencil use a lot of memory depending of the number of vertex, some project can be really heavy at the end. On software dedicated to 2D like TV paint or Animate CC, the process is way more simple and accessible to everyone because they're dedicated for animation purpose....Wow I did write a lot 😅 sorry if I confuse you. Hey 👋 🙂! Yeah I do understand you friend💯. I wasn't really into using any third-party software or technology to do that job, cuz it's was too much complicated😅. Like you I preferred to do everything myself, the hardworking way if I can say✍😄. But I started to learned those technology because of the time consuming of doing it manually. To be honest it helped me to optimized my workflow. It's because animation it's a lot and master new tool like this can make you do even more work that you usually do 🙂. This video is to share a little bit of knowledge that I learned, of course it doesn't work all the time😉 and will still have to work manually at some point😁👌 cheers!

@@tuat555 yep im giving a try , im learning Grease pencil , them um giving a segund chance to interpolation 😅😅, i usualy animate Very simples forms , so no problem to animate all , but whem your carácter has 5 layers of stuff moving , interpolate can save some nights of sleep
