Hey mate, a problem got with blender octane, hopefully you can help me - catching reflections. I would love it if you could make a tutorial. Obviously it’s very easy to set up a shadow catcher. For reflections, I see people just taking the indirect reflections and plussing it over the backplate which wouldn’t work at all if the reflection was dark/ had black tones in (blending mode would remove the dark reflections) Is there a way to get an alpha of the reflection so that we don’t have to use a blending mode? Is there a better solution within octane to catch reflections? Thanks
Hi. Great tutorials as always. I have a question about randomizing colors per object in blender octane...is it even possible? As example I want to randomize pile of different coffee beans (few variation of them not one as instance) so some are darker and some lighter???
