when i do the same, bright parts of the image turns purple, why does it happens?

I've just managed to find a work around after a few days of this highlighting issue! If you just pull the exposure slider down to where the over exposed parts that are pink disappear, THEN you can add a levels on top and re-expose the image and add hue/saturation etc. IT WORKS! Thanks for this plug in! If you could make one for AgX Taht would be perrrrfect!! Thank you please

I think this plug-in is not able to calculate some highlighted areas, but it produces purple areas. I am exr32-bit and used this to restore the very highlighted areas, but purple areas appeared. What is going on?

Hi there, love what you've done with this plug in however I'm getting some annoying artifacting from using this process thats making it un-useable. Whenever I add the Blender Filmic effect, put the input to standard linear, I just get a hot pink or bright green artifacting in the over exposed parts and its driving me crazy! Please help!

There is not much I can do about that, you might need to add an exemption. But I have posted version 0.2 that has a few minor tweaks.

@@effectstown thanks. I try OpenColorIo plugin with sRGB to Filmic Log and your Filmic log input and have a different result. Your Filmic log should looks like Standard linear.
