Blender Tutorial - Intro to Dynamic Paint

I had no idea you could do this in Blender... color (or paint hehe) me impressed.

Been using Blender since april 2019 and had no idea this was even possible..

That was JUST SUPER COOL! If you don't mind sharing, what are some examples of things you've made using the Dynamic paint system?

A sidenote: you don't "need" to link the canvas to the brush by a collection, it works fine without. The collection setting is to choose specific brushes, let's say you have several canvas and brush objects in your scene, but you want some brushes not to affect the canvas while others should affect it. Then you put the ones that should affect it into a separate collection and tell the canvas to only react to those brushes.

what setting allows the moving while pressing play? thats where I got lost.
