Stylized stuff is way different from realism. You need to reimagine things rather than replicate them. Very nice tutorial! Thanks!)

subscribed and that was amazing, just one question - are these models being used in games or moves? or its a part of the concept?

Why did you have two meshes in Substance. One LowPoly and one HighPoly? Is the highpoly one to texture on and bake so you can then use that texture on the lowpoly one???
@AnastasiaKasyanik
@AnastasiaKasyanik 2 года назад
Exactly! The high poly is just here for baking. This way you can keep a low poly version of your asset and gain more performances, with all the details of the high poly

is it necessary to learn multiple softwares for modelling sculpting, texturing and other things?
@burpworm
@burpworm 3 года назад
blender does all of those things but not everyone prefers the way it does those things. you can stick with one main program or use multiple ones. either way the success and joy comes down to the artist rather than the tools.

How did she make the low poly trigon models in Blender? Did she use the deformation modifier?

@3:46 planks how do you make the straight lines?
@LaszloIvanyi
@LaszloIvanyi 3 года назад
Not bad at all. Could go more detail into the sculpting and putting high poly to low poly part. I suspect all the sculpting could have been done in Blender as well.. It has alpha sculpting brushes. I understand that it's a great tool, but when you have the same stuff in Blender just need to learn them it could be a viable path later on..

Good tutorial, but why is there a super loud sub bass sound all the time in the background?

I didn't understand about 4:50 . What happened to the wood object that is on the ground? Did you use the wood design as a material or it is used as a 3D object? You used 5:45 the same wood design on the shelves. I didn't understand this. If you use it as a wood material design, how did you do it?

What specifically does zbrush offer you that blender can not do in your workflow?
@AnastasiaKasyanik
@AnastasiaKasyanik 3 года назад
According to your setup, Blender can start to lag faster than Zbrush for a same polygons count. It's because Zbrush uses pixols which are a lot less consuming than pixels in a 3D space. So, you can make high polys better and easier.
@Stories_behind_the_eye
@Stories_behind_the_eye 3 года назад
According to flippednormals youtube channel they believe that blender can handle large poly count and large scenes. How many polygons can blender handle before crashing?
@AnastasiaKasyanik
@AnastasiaKasyanik 3 года назад
There is no defined limit. This is more a hardware question

Damn, how does she takes the Zbrush sculpt to Blender? Does she use retopology or does she bakes it into textures?

Hi! I just baked my high poly on my low poly objects in Substance, then I textured them. After exporting textures, I just drag and dropped them in Blender on the low poly meshes I unwrapped
