I thought I was going to hate it when I first saw the yellow paint. As usual, you made it so pretty. I think it would look nice in a kitchen with antique dishes in it.
Oh no, that piece was perfect just the way it was, I think some pieces are meant to be left alone. But I’m your fan Kacha, you are a great artist and so beautiful
We no longer have an Annie Sloan dealer in our city so I’ve been using other brands. The first piece I painted with chalk paint I used Annie Sloan paint and wax. It’s still beautiful-even after several years in my daughter’s room. It held up well to a 7+ year old.
This is beautiful! I personally love yellow furniture. I think the fact that you did this while dealing with heating issues in Maine in January makes it even better. I hope the problem has been completely resolved. My only question is how do you stay so clean while painting? You never seem to get paint on yourself. I’ve only seen you get it in your hair once.
Beautiful, I didn't think the yellow was going to be too bright but you did an excellent job of blending. The inside looks so natural to the piece. Love it. Leta
Even though you had big problems with your heating system, this cabinet is still so amazing! Peace and Blessings 🙏 ❤ to you all. I love your video/vlogs
my granddaughter wants an old white desk done in yellow when she returns home in a year - I didn't have any concept in mind until now, wow, so much more beautiful than I could ever have dreamed up myself! Thank you once again Kacha :)
This piece turned out amazing !! I love the contrast with the gray inside and the transfer really adds to the entire piece. Definitely a unique ombre' piece. Love the brown wax giving it an aged look. Thanks Kacha for a great transformation !!
It’s beautiful and you definitely made the best of these color but…my heart hurts a little for that amazing, stunning wood that you covered! 😭 Anyway, good job! 🤗
Question: is it okay to use different brands of chalk paint and blend them together? And can you use one brand of chalk paint and use another brand for the wax? Or a primer (against bleeding) that’s not the same brand as the paint? I live in a small country where I can find some paints, but not the wax or primer from the same one.< and vice versa.
I just love to watch you paint and explain the job as you do it. Thank you so much. I'm trying to learn and I'm 72 yrs old. I love painted furniture... from Arizona...
Love this. As much as I love to paint furniture and I’m no where near as talented as you. I also love to crochet and couldn’t help but notice your beautiful hat! My hands like to stay busy, it keeps my heart happy! I hope you warm up soon
Kacha …you are an amazing furniture artist. Your design aesthetic is spot on! You should open your own furniture shop, seriously! You are a true artist, inspiring and , I’m sure I’m not the first person to say this…you make me feel like I can do anything with the techniques you show us. Keep up the good work, young lady🥰

All your pieced are unique thus one brings me a feeling of fresh afternoon under a lemon 🍋 tree 🌳
Kacha, I have postponed painting my “marble top dry washstand” in English yellow. I should have finished it months ago, but yesterday was thinking to pick a different color, or mix white with it. I’m not kidding! I can’t go against my instinct. 😘🙏🏼
Katcha, I have a question for you. Can you use polyacrylic over Antiquing wax and regular wax. Somebody I know does this. U had heard you do the opposite. Please would you let me know? Thanks.
I am so proud of you! I feel like you are my little sister who is getting recognized for her extreme talent and skill. Much love from Rebecca and Baby (Brittany Spaniel) in Kentucky!
O.k., at 1st I was like no way, then as each step went by I was like o.k., I'm digging this, and yellow is my favorite color, and love grey and yellow together. The white is perfect, ombre, beautiful, the shading, perfecto, the transfers, really calming on the inside, so overall, bravo for an amazing piece!!
I love all your videos and I have learn so much from you. You are great at what you do as your job. This Peace is interesting, and after seeing it when finished, I love it and I will pray for you to get your heat back on. I'm in Alabama and we never know what type of weather we will have. It can be 70 one day then rain wake up to snow. That's Alabama. 💕 Your program. Oh yes, I love your hat. I bet you made it. Beautiful 🌹❤️.
Amazingly beautiful 🥰 I must say though I’m not having any luck with chalk paint and the wax. The paint is always spotty and the wax doesn’t blend well. I tried the wax with non chalk flat paint and it turned out beautifully 🥰. I’m not sure what the problem is but I’ll keep using non chalk flat acrylic paint 🥰
Kacha, does the transfer Spring Branch have shiny gold leaves between the green ones. It seems this is the case when you showed the finished piece. Magnificent job, by the way. 🏆🎖👍🥰 Thank you Kacha
You have inspired and lifted me with your art ~ thank God, for you, KACHA! Can you tell me when you first began your art painting or how long you have been an artist? Thank you, thank you, ~ this lady is just starting her artistry with paints! God Bless your heart! How will I find out who won the challenge or is it a challenge or?
This is SO BEAUTIFUL! So cute! You are an inspired perfectionist! The transfer and the dark wax made a huge difference! Despite the heat problem you appeared to be so relaxed and happy while doing the piece! Excellent job, as usual!
It was not until you added in the dark wax to bring out the details of their. He started to speak to me before I thought. OK just kind of a yellow and white piece. Beautiful beautiful now absolutely beautiful.

Kacha you are amazing that piece is so very very sweet there are no words for this piece I love ❤ ❤❤ it!!!thank you for sharing your love for your talents!God Bless you and yours!!!
I love yellow I painted a sofa table with the yellow and black and red sounds bad but it came out old world looking , I love Annie Sloan paint , and you knocked it out of the ball park ❤️❤️❤️👍
Kacha, I love Your work, masterpiece each time. Could You do a close shut of the surface, just to see if it's the texture or smooth . Thank You for your inspiration.
Wow! What a beautiful piece!! I am not a yellow fan, but I cannot help but think how beautiful this is. You are so talented. I paint and refurbish furniture as my health allows but my skill is no where near to yours.
I love love love your knit hat!!! I hope the heat is fixed. I grew up in NH so I know how that is. I have been wanting to do something yellow and it was great to see a piece done in it first. Thanks for taking chances with color and sharing it!
I wasn't sure about this piece at the beginning and didn't have the vision that this would turn out looking good, but as always you pulled it off. I love the shading and the inside is my favorite. I think this would look so pretty and bright in a sunroom.
I love your work and your artistic eye. I'm not a fan of the color unfortunately. However you are happy with it and plan to keep it so that's what matters!
