Lysander. The only plane my dad flew in. He was a Radio Operator and went to France at least once in one....... Thanks Dad. RIP

I watched the PBS show where they were rebuilding old machines and one of the Episodes was of restoring a lysander.... I want to think this is it??

Gloster Gladiator biplane fighter: began service 1937 Gloster Meteor jet fighter: began service 1944 A short seven years from biplane to jet. Wow.
