Played in the key of G. "All praise to Him who reigns above in majesty supreme, who gave His Son for man to die, that He might man redeem!" Blessed be the name of the Lord!
My family would sing the chorus of this song for the blessing at Thanksgiving. I never heard the verses, but the chorus is stuck fast. Thank you, Kaleb. 😊❤
Sweet old hymn. Thank you. I love watching how you play your base chords. Not positive I saw some grace notes in there too (love those) but either way, it’s all GRACE. 😊
So, full disclosure: We’ve had a busy (some bad, some good) last year so I haven’t tuned into this channel in a loooong time. The first thing I noticed was…the watch is gone!!! After some investigation it seems it was a year ago this month since it was last seen (I’m tired and killing time here). That watch was a classic and will be missed. 😊 Also, it’s good to be back.
I play all your instrumental hyms in church before service starts. We are all truly blessed and may God continue to bless you in your music ministry. If you have an album I'd like to purchase.
Thanks! There are two versions of Blessed Be the Name song. One referenced the verses of the O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing and with the chorus, and the other has different lyrics like All Praise To Him Who Reigns Above, but they both have the same choruses (blessed be the name, blessed be the name), etc.
