The percent chance you land it on it's side is always minuscule and once it rolls it always falls to either one side or the other. They are the definition of 50/50.

Funny enough, his logic was mostly sound, he just always went against his better judgement when it counted. He didn't take his own psychology into account. Like when he said he knew Sarah would put it back on the right after having changed it to the left, but instead of staying on the right, he decided to go against his own logical analasis and choose the left box.....which lost him that round.
