I lost my lovely wife last year after 45 amazing years with her. She was my soulmate and my best friend. I miss her so much and always will in this life. In my loss and grief I've found this song and Laura's experiences have helped and strengthened me so much and I regularly listen to 'Blessings' just to remind me of the amazing truths that she sings about. In my experience I have found God to be so much more meaningful, comforting and full of hope in my dark times than I ever did in the 'easy' days. I know where my soulmate is and one day I shall see her again because of Jesus. Thank you Laura for this beautiful song.

I lost my son in October of this last year. I've been hanging on by a thread from time to time. I miss him so much and he was only 35 when he went home to the Lord. I question why, I receive no answer. I know that we have trials in this life and some of them are so very hard to get through. I was told cancer was traveling my body. So, I am standing, before Him. Kneeling, watching, listening, resting in Him, waiting on Him. It’s a win, win!

When I was about 8, this was my absolute favorite song, but over time I had completely forgotten it existed. I’m going through a rough time right now, and I woke up this morning crying with the line ‘what if your healing comes through tears’ stuck in my head. I couldn’t remember where I’d heard it from, so I googled it and rediscovered this song, which is exactly what I needed right now. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence that I found this song again today, and that God truly is working on my life to make a better person and heal my broken soul

This song reminds me about what happened to me last 2015, that's when I suffered panic attack. I was always afraid of flame. I felt like I'd die anytime and hell was waiting for me. In high school, I had a spine injury from cheerleading and my mom showed me this song and it helped bring me comfort. As the months went on, my pain got worse and I was in depression. I felt myself getting farther away from God questioning why it had to happen to me. After one of my hardest doctors appointment, I went sitting in Chick-fil-A feeling completely defeated when this song came on that I had forgotten about and I burst into tears. I know this was a sign from God that he was with me and from that point on I had the strength to fight for my happiness and health!

This is the memory that this song brings me back to every time, I hope it reaches and blesses somebody: I grew up in a creative access country as a missionary kid. On the eve of my 14th birthday, my mom had been scheduled for emergency eye surgery for the day of. As an early birthday present (since she wouldn't be home to celebrate it that year), she took me to the hair salon to get a haircut. Suddenly, as we were waiting, behind the mundane murmur of the salon, we heard this song playing on the speakers inside. Quiet, but there. An English, Christian song being played in an unassuming hair salon in a secular creative access country. We had heard it before once or twice, here and there, but never like this. We figured later that someone just must've liked the sound of the song, not understanding its content, and added it to the playlist for that day. During that moment, we just looked at each other... and knew it was of God. I've had my share of ups and downs when it comes to birthdays (I'm sure we all have). That one was a low at the time. But I know now that God was doing something then, that He was calling me to give up my comfort in order to be comforted in the midst of my mom's struggles, as well as a very hard year for our family. The following year, my mom was miraculously (and I mean miraculously) healed of her eye troubles. We got through that year, and we were all better for it. God works in mysterious ways, but He also works in evident ways too! Blessings!

I lost my dear mom to cancer a week ago today, watched her breathe her last breath. As she lay dying, my youngest sister asked me if my wife and I would sing at her funeral. I hadn't sang publicly since the days of cassette accompaniment tracks and big sound boards, but I said yes, for you sis, I will do it. I was going to do a different song, but it was too hard to learn with such a short practice time, mom died so fast, overnight really, so I found Laura's sweet endearing song and I loved it when I first heard it but had forgotten about it, but it came to my mind and heart and God used it to comfort and minister like no other song could have! I will never forget this song and how much it has come to mean to me as long as I live!

My mother also just passed after a long fight with cancer.. I just listened to this song the the very first time and I can't explain how much peace it has brought me. This song comforted me so much. For the past almost 3 years I suffered from a chronical illness called ME/CFS. I was bedridden, couldn't walk anymore and had to be fed and washed by my mom. Sometimes I couldn't eat at all. I couldn't think or talk properly anymore and did uncontrolled things with my body. I was in such pain every day and would lay in a dark room with earplugs and sunglasses on because I was so sensitive to literally everything. No doctor or therapists and no medication could help me. It was just getting worse. We thought I was going to die. But Jesus was always with me and comforted me. I trusted in him no mather what would happen next. And then he blessed me like never before! Cause recently a few months ago Jesus showed me through the bible that I will get better and on the next day it actually happened just like He showed me!! I woke up with no more pain, could eat by myself, could bear light and noises again etc. God fixed my damaged brain cells and gave me so much strength back. It's such a miracle!!!The doctors and therapists are all speechless. "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Luke 18:27 Amen. During the time of sickness God has strengthened and renewed me in my faith as a christian and He touched (still does) other peoples hearts through all of that! It was so worth it. He never makes mistakes! I am so thankful for everything. Praise the Lord!! Thank you Abba! ❤️ (btw right now I'm 23 years old) For everyone who's reading this: God loves you unconditionally and believe me, he sees you in your distress and cares about you! 12 years ago I was on hospital bedrest for almost 70 days. I played this song on repeat as I reminded myself that our biggest blessings might come with great trials. This was balm to my anxious heart during that time. My son was born 8 weeks early, but very very healthy.
