why they nerf Freddy and Pig instead of Nurse and Blight? Easy answer: casual players. I am, myself, a casual player and play a LOT more Pig and Freddy. In reality, I never even try to learn how to use Blight and Nurse because I don't have the time, in my life, to play hundreds of hour to master them. And then what happens? By the devs statistics, Pig and Freddy are way more played than Nurse so they need nerfs, Nurse doesn't because only a low percentage of people play them.
Always blows my mind devs think perks like sloppy and STBFL need nerfs when they are only useful on M1 killer while Nurse and Blight exist in the game. Like STBFL required you to get 8 hits not hitting a specific person for m1 killers to have 1/20th the chase pressure Blight and Nurse have basekit.
and than Otzdurrva goes calling every killer perk "problematic, disgusting or boring" and rallies up his community to cry on twitter about how "Killer too op"
Do you think that it’s possible that they don’t nerf very strong killer to not alterate the state of competitive play? Basically they don’t want comp dbd to die, so they don’t touch killers that are proven to kind of work by comp killers? Or do you think that the devs don’t really care about that stuff?
They make changes by looking at a spreadsheet and adjusting numbers. That is their primary mode of focus. Blight and Nurse don't kill as often as other killers, and so, they adjust those other killers even though in the correct hands, Blight and Nurse have infinitely more potential. They don't care about the minority. It is all about pubs to them.

Nurse's power used offensively (as an attack) is without question stronger than Blight's; however, Blight has much more map presence. Because of that, he dominates public matches much more than Nurse. That's why players consistently win more matches as Blight both at lower level, and at top level MMR.

Nurse is just a different category. Above everything. You can slow down a little bit the other top tier killers in chase, but Nurse? It's only about she miss the blink or not.
Guy ran double iri on Blight and says Blight is OP lol. Like ofc yeah with double iri he's op. Tell him to use ANY other addons and he'll understand how nerfed Blight is.
