rarity's accent in the show is a mid-atlantic accent, kinda a mixture between a standard british and standard american accent, it was more common of an accent in the past around the time of black and white movies in the 1930s and 1940s and used to be taught to upperclass individuals in schools, if you watch a lot of old movies, you can hear a lot of accents you don't hear much of anymore:)

(Yes I do know that this Theory sucks the name sucks and so does the Cheesy ending :P )
