I'm a sculptor and painter- went through a bloody near death experience from stage 4 cancer in 2005. Attitude is eveything, yet Sargy Mann's simplicity of vision- his critical decision to explore regardless of what appeared to be impossible circumstances- offers all of humanity a profound higher road- to press on, to dream bigger and to reach further.

This brings me to tears. I am a writer, and I have often wondered how I could continue to write if I ever lost my sight. Now I know that it wouldn't be an obstacle at all. RIP, Sargy Mann--and thank you.

4:12 "If your subject is your own experience, then as long as you're having an experience, you've got a subject." Very Kantian-Schopenhauerian.

This man is a total inspiration. He makes me realise I am not focusing intensely enough nor in the correct way when it comes to my paintings and how I should think of the process. Thank you Sarggey Man for not only your great art works but for teaching me how to open my artistic mind.

Best wishes from Los Angeles! I'm blind artist and also I make videos for my vlogs. I lost my sight when I was 26 years old and I lived alone. I had a kidney and a pancreas transplant 5 years ago. And after that I found my love. I started to paint by touch. We mooved to California 1,5 years ago from other country and started new life. Much love for everyone! #kateroyax

Astonishing work from an astonishing man! Sargy at one point refers to how ( after blindness ) he could somehow 'see' the applied colours. Human consciousness has its origin and dimension beyond the purely physical, and I think he's tapping into a faculty beyond mere intuition.

what a inspirational person to persons like me who are visually impaired.i have drawn since a small child. i. even was drawing prior to cataract surgery. i have had my one eye restored twice so I feel God has plans for me a gift of. artist skill. i can draw straight lines etc. details etc.The only thing. i have to work harder at is mindsets of making sure I get depth and making sure things appear three dimensional. . Seeing in one eye i dont have the advantage of going to a movie with the 3D glasses. i get to see regular and descriptive video service is helpful. Keep inspiring. you must see the detail work in your mind. but what you have on canvas is to me accurate in seeing shapes and remembering. concepts. i hope I make sense. i got to see Europe as a child after my retina detachments and got to see castles, cathedrals, museums. Mona Lisa and the Lourve in Paris. Madame Thousands wax museum in London. i wish I had my dad's slides of all the 18 countries i was blessed to see. Bless you.
