It was great to see how calm and respectful serenity already is around the animals! It's clear by how she asked permission to touch the salamander and the way she was careful to not touch the other animals' faces that she's been taught well how to interact in a positive and respectful way with all sorts of wildlife!
I think she explained before that Augusto is just kind of timid and isn't as comfortable in front of the camera, so they stopped putting him in the intro since he was never really in front of the camera anymore and they didn't want to confuse anyone.

I rescued a savannah monitor from a pet store that had a broken and infected tail when I was a teenager many years ago. They couldn’t sell it because it was “damaged” and were going to “get rid of it”. I named him Frodrik and nursed him back to health and he lived out the rest of his life happily. Yay
Wow, it's disgusting that people treat animals like products. 😒 All the more reason to never buy an animal. It's reassuring that there's people like you who take the "defective" animals in and help them. 👍 The Snake Discovery channel recently had a video where they bought a snake that came with a hole in its tail and they nursed it back to health, but the seller insisted on them returning it in order to give them a refund. ¬_¬

I'm so happy for more Augusto! And little Castanedas! I know he doesn't like being in front of the camera but I always enjoyed seeing him and Jesse interact as well as talk about how much they love animals.

I'd been wondering for a while if you and Augusto were even still together, since he got removed from the intro, and, as someone else pointed out, you're sometimes not wearing your ring. (Though the latter is understandable. That's a choking hazard for grabby little paws/feet/claws/beaks). Good to know you're still together! And nice seeing more of Augusto! Though he doesn't look like he's as comfortable on camera as you are.
I’m from Australia so we don’t have Chinchillas here. I knew that pet chinchillas are given dust baths but I had no idea they did it in volcanic ash!!! Incredible 😮

Hello, I know Jessi will definitely not see this but on the off chance she did it’d be incredible. I was wondering, is there any way to tame two budgies who are already bonded to one another? I want them to be at least comfortable with my hands so they can come outside of the cage, but they’re already bonded to each other and are both afraid of my hands. Is it impossible to make them comfortable with me at least? I’m just at a loss and really need information.
